This is kind of a part two to Kise Ryōta (1). However, I'll make write it in a way that you won't have to reread that. I like it like that HEY WINDOWS DOWN- *resists the urge to sing any longer*

Their Photo
Even though [Name] loved art, the actual gallery where art was showcased unnerved her relentlessly. She hated that there was so much white in one area. Her photos that she took always had an array of colors to them. She had always made sure to do so, for she was always afraid of her art to be too monochromatic.
She looked down at her attire. It was a simple black dress that ended at her knees complimented with a pair of black flats and a yellow handbag. Embarrassingly enough, she had only gotten the handbag because the color reminded her of the subject of the photo she had entered into this particular competition, Kise Ryōta. She could feel her face heating up. Just the thought of the yellow hair fool could make her heart and mind go crazy. Yes, she had grown very fond of him during their adventures together.
Seeing as she had some down time, [Name] walked over to one of the paintings. She whistled lowly as she saw that it looked exactly like a picture. She frowned to herself as she realized that she had never been able to accomplish something very similar to this: having a photo that looked like a painting.
Her face fell even more. She had been in this competition for more than eight years and she had not once been able to accomplish that feat. Landscapes were supposedly easier to make it look like a painting, but of all her years that she had been entering landscapes into this competition she had not seen how it is.
She fiddled with one of the straps of her handbags. That was one of the reasons she decided that she would change up her style this year by submitting a picture of Kise Ryōta. She felt slightly giddy as she visualized the picture she had finally chosen. Honestly, she thought it was one of the best pictures she had taken of him - well, more like them.
Suddenly, [Name] was ripped away from her spot by a pair of arms that hoisted her in the arm. She yelped in surprise as she looked down at the person who was doing this to her. Not to her surprise, it was Kise himself. She instinctively smiled widely at him and giggled while begging him to put her down. He did so and enveloped her into a big hug. She caught a whiff of his cologne, which she swore smelt like heaven.
"I was so worried when I didn't see you immediately, [Nickname]cchi!" he exclaimed. She pushed him away and looked up at him. "You took so long with getting here, so I decided that I would start looking at the paintings. It's what happens when you're late," she remarked. Ignoring his hurt look, she tugged on his sleeve to guide him down the corridor of many paintings.
It was fun looking at the paintings. Some [Name] could tell were from first timers. There were some who didn't even try. Some were intricate pieces that looked like the artist put every emotion they had ever had into this one single work of art. It was those pieces that took her breath away.
She turned her head to look at Kise. It was funny how he showed his appreciation to the art. At the pieces he didn't like, he would sneer at it until another one would catch his interests. To the ones he thought were really good, he would poke her cheek until she looked at his "amazing discovery". It was obvious to tell the ones that he thought were the best. He would stare at it wide-eyed, cocking his head to almost every angle possible to try to catch a better view of it.
Her eyes traveled down to what clothes he was wearing. Her face heated up rapidly. While her sense of fashion could be described as a toddler in a thrift store, she could tell that he was wearing some of the newest trends. She hadn't noticed it until now, but several women were commenting on his appearance. It was strange. Did they not notice who he was? She shook her head and looked at the painting in front of her. Not many of his fans would dare step foot in an art gallery for fear of getting some culture on them.
(oh shit some hot burns is happenin' //slapped)
After a while of looking at the paintings, which was a lot due to the fact that this was a contest open to everyone in Japan, she looked at her watched. "Shit! I think they already did their judgy things!" she exclaimed. A few glares were directed towards her, but she ignored them. Instead, [Name] grabbed Kise and dragged him to the photography section. She could tell that he wasn't used to being the "dragee" due to him yelling for her to slow down.
[Name] quickly scanned the photos. She was right when she said that the judges had stopped by the pictures; some of them were adorned with honorary awards. However, she didn't see her picture or the best in show award. [Name] heard Kise gasp. Looking at him, she saw that she was in front of the picture she had entered into the competition.
To her, it was a beautiful picture. She remembered taking it by a bench on top of a hill. The camera was set on a timer and was behind the bench. Kise was sitting on the bench, the sunset in front of him making him look like a silhouette. He turned towards her and told her to sit next to him. Hesitantly, she did so. His arm found itself around her shoulder, pulling her closer to him. At first, she was frozen stiff. She soon found herself leaning her head on his shoulder while staring at the beautiful sunset.
She didn't know it then, but the camera had taken a picture of them sharing this sweet moment. Kise was one to find it while they were looking at potential pictures to enter in. It was his insistence that led her to enter the photo into the competition. While it was embarrassing to show everyone this moment, [Name] had to agree that this picture was the best one she had taken during their various photo shoots.
The blue ribbon with the words "Best in Show" made it even more beautiful.
Kise flailed his arms in excitement. "[Nickname]cchi! You did it! You won!" he exclaimed. She put her hand over her racing heart while smiling. "It'd be more like we did it, Kise-kun," she stated. He ran up and hugged her, burying his face into the crook of her neck. She hugged him back.
After some time (and some unpleasant looks from passersby), she let go of him. [Name] twirled her hair between her fingers. It hadn't occurred to her until just now, but this would probably be the last time that she would actually hang out. The high that she had due to her winning the photography part of the competition had gone away, only leaving bitterness of the knowledge that their little twosome couldn't last forever.
Her eyes widened he leaned down and kissed her. She gripped onto Kise's shirt and closed her eyes, letting herself enjoy the sweetness of the kiss. They parted and stared into each other's eyes. Her cheeks turned dark red as she realized that she, a geeky photographer girl, had actually kissed him, a handsome male who was a model.
"I really, really love [Nickname]cchi!" he exclaimed, hugging her once more. She wrapped her arms around him. "I do too, ya big dum dum. Let's get out of here! The ice cream place next door is said to be pretty good!" she said, pushing him away despite his whines of protest. She dragged him towards the door. She looked back at her picture, her new boyfriend (as far as she knew, of course), and her shiny blue ribbon.
Yes, deciding to go a different way was a great idea.
