I.S.O.L.A.T.E.D * Show me How to fight for now*

          My mom woke up getting ready  for work , when she walked up stairs that early morning to see Prince was sleeping with me , I knew she smiled and shut the door , she wants me happy and I can sense it in her reactions. We woke up that morning , first Prince did and got ready for school , I woke up trying to find out where I am cause yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery. " Come on we gonna be late" he says to me smileing and walking out the door , I sit there and I wash up and curl my hair and sit infront of the mirror , I look at my reflection and I see my dad. I almost cried , but I didn't so I got up grabbing my things and locked the door heading out for the bus stop.

     "Hey Avanna!" yells Raquel , " Hey Raquel" I say with a slight smile , " I heard what happend , are you okay?" she sakses hugging me , " yeah i'm fine , just lets not ask what happend " I say smieling hugging her back. " Don't worry chica! , we won't , but if you need anything you coem to me or Romelo" she says with a smile , I'm glad she understands how I feel , it's been a while since I told her anything. The bus came and me and Prince sat together as always , he didn't talk but he was holding my hand really tight everytime we passed the projects , "ow " I would say under my breath he was squeezing so hard. What do i do? , I can't make him dissaper than his father is going to get worried , but I just realized the ring on my finger and as I looked at him I laid my head on his shoulder and kissed his hand as he looked at me kissing my head and looking out the window again. "Don't be so frightend Prince , i'm here for you alright" I say , he takes my hand and kisses it " i know" he says smileing and falling sleep next the window. 

      We all got off the bus and I stood by my locker , it's sad because Prince's locker is all the way down the next hall , but we see eachother at breakfast. " Raquel i'm sorry i'll sit with you tomorrow" I said tapping her shoulder , " Oh thats alright chica , , what about lunch?" she askes , " Iwill be with Prince , maybe tomorrow okay?" I say walking off to the cafetreia and I sit with Prince and we eat together, I see everyone whispering and pointing to us , I hate pointing. My mom always told me it's not polite to point , and it quickly made me upset , " ignore them , they just mad" he says eating his string cheese , " yeah i know , it's not right to point though " I say , after I say that the bell rings for 1st period class , wow that quick , well it's reasonable , breakfast is already 15 minutes only.

    I hang out with Andre when I don't have a person to hang out with , and he had every class with me , except theatre , he isn't the drama  kind of guy , but he is still cool in many other ways. I walk down the hall getting ready for lunch and I put my books up , "Hey chica!" Raquel says walking down the hall , " Hey hey " I say with a wide smile , " Girl! , go out front , Prince is in a fight" she tells me , " What for!" I say droping everything running out to the front of the school , " Yo you gonna feel it today! , you stole my girl that night!" , I hear someone say , it was a built football player , everyone had their camra phones out and I try to get threw. " come on i'm not scared of none of ya'll!" I hear Prince yell at them , with the force of his high pitched voice " let me threw!" I yell at the tall people blocking my veiw , " Oh it's on!" he says punching him down. All I see is him falling and 2 boys jump him , he is taking those hits! , " No stop! " I jump in kicing them off of him and they try to get me off of him , " Chica! , watch out!" Raquel warns me , I see Romelo trying to cut in and picks a fight with one of the guys , he was winning of course , Romelo was built like a perfessinal basketball player. " Avanna! please go , I don't want you hurt!" , he says " Yeah okay! , like I wanna see you get beat up!" I scream , the girls are pulling my hair back as I as forced to watch him get punchd reaptedly in the stomach. " No stop it! leave him alone! " I yelled at them , but the girl was pulling my hair badly , Raquel jumped in punching her so hard it sent her flying , " you alright chica?" she helps me up hugging me , " yeah i'm fine" I say looking at Prince getting beat up. It wasn't long till the princple broke up the fight between Romelo and the big Jock , then one of the officers stopped the boy from beating on Prince , the Prince fell knocked out , " No! " I scream and Raquel holds me back as they check him make sure he isn't dead at the least , " No! , No!" I scream again , I felt as all I heard was my voice fadeing  , screaming saying nothing , all I see is Prince knocked out on the front of the step as they let us back in the school.  

       I saw them take him to the hospital and I sit in the nurses office crying , I just didn't know what to do , I promised i'd do anything for him , I only ment well " okay honey keep that ice on your forehead , and Mrs.Gillison wants to see you" she says with a spark , like it was funny , was she mocking me? , ah well I had bigger issues. I walked in the Princples office , I have never been in here , only to do office stuff for school hours to help me graduate. " Now Avanna , your not introuble , however Romelo , you need to miss 2 days of school , " she says to him " Aw man! , didn't you see them! i was sticking up for my girl !" he says with a angered tone , " Now now! , I know what you  where trying to do , but still , we need you away for a while till they are over it" she says , " now Avanna , I seen you tried to help Prince ? , am I correct?" she askes , I nod , not wanting to talk about it , I let the tears fall off my nose and I sniff it all up , " Sweetheart don't cry , he isn't suspended , he is going to be fine ," she says to me , I wanted to believe her , but I have trust issues with anybody , I couldn't believe her , what if she was wrong?.   

     She let me go , after 8th period I tried to avoid my mother coming into the house , cause I knew she was going to ask what happend to me, " Hey Avanna , no need to hide , your princple told me everything" she said reading her book , her tummy looked even bigger , I saw no signs of that man , so I at on the couch as the not on my head was shrinking , " Avanna I know you love him alright , but if in a fight and he is included , you do not want to get involved" she talks to me taking off her glasses , " I know ma , I just felt like I was helping" I said , " helping with what ? , honey all you did was make him worry and more defesive about you" she said , my mom is wise when it comes to things like this , I can do for myself , but my mom's words know how to make me happy. " mom I just wanted to help , I never knew I was causeing him stress" I said whipign my face , " sweetheart , I fight for the things you love , but in this case , you need to ask yourself , "how do I figth for now"  , understand?" she says putting her hand on my lap , " yes mama" I said hugging her and I laid on her lap listening to my baby brothers sounds , and feeling his kicks made me fall asleep , my mom was right , I need to learn how to fight for now.
