I sat up rubbing my eyes as he pushed me back down and told me to "shhh" in a clam matter. I still tried to sit up like everything wasn't okay. " Avanna , sweetie , babygirl chill , shh it's me" I hear the voice and he kisses my forehead " it's me Prince" he says in a soft tone. " P-p-prince?" I say. I couldn't believe it, I looked up and pulled him down to hug him and immidiately began to cry. "Shhh , everything is okay " he says holding onto me. " wait , where is the baby? , and my mom!" I began to panic again from all the stress. " They are fine , the police are still looking for the victim of hurting your mom , your mom got shot in the leg" he says with his head down. I feel a slight anger and pain in my heart and I began to cry holding my mouth with sickness. " I know baby you'll get threw it I promise" he says hugging me.

I felt rage , and hate fill my heart. " What about Antonio? , is he alright?" I yell , " Avanna , the baby is fine he is in medical care with Ms.James , she came as soon as she heard the insadent. And I was bailed , Raquel bailed me , shes out there too" he says to me touching my chin and whiping my tears away. " Avanna, im here babygirl , you will get threw this I promise" he says. The doctors come in and tell him that he had to leave and that his parents was here to pick him up. " Stay strong Avanna , dont let them tell you anything wrong!" he says leaveing the room. I lay back down for the doctors to check me and make sure I was okay. All I could hear was a faint gun shot pop up in my head and I kept closing my eyes. I wanted to go to sleep , and never , ever! wake up.

Ms. James talked to the doctors about me and the baby's early realse , I still didn't hear news about my mom , I was only worried about the baby's and my mom's safety , thats all. " Well she and the baby can be realsed but the mother of the child hasn't got any late updates , she's still paralized from the waste down" the doctor explains to Ms.James , " Alright , thats all I need to know , they need to come home with me untill their house is ready to be lived in again" she says.

" For sure mam , and may I ask are you realted to these children?" , " No just a good friend of the family , dont worry you can trust me" she says in a laughing manner. She goes to get the baby and then she waits for me out in the emgeracny parking lot. I get in the car and I don't say a word , im still tripping off of the fact that my mom is paralized. " listen , im gonna order pizza for you to eat, we are gonna stop by the house and your gonna pack some things alright?" she says , I nod and say nothing. I didn't want to cry , but I did , it hurt so bad on the inside I didn't know how to handle it.

I went in the house and ran upstairs trying to not look at the mess , I packed some clothes and some stuff I needed that was extra, I packed the baby's stuff and clothes and left his other things there. I cried on my way back down the steps. I didn't want to know the truth , but it turns out it was reality.
