The last few months have been good school and working in the studio keep me pretty busy. Nia and I have been going strong for 4 months now. Everything was going great with the exception that I hadn't spoked to my mom in a minute. In fact the last time I saw her Titi was going in on her for how she just dropped off my brother and sister and didn't come back for like two days.

"Where the hell you been at Mari and don't give me that bull shit line of you went to the damn store cause it don't take nobody ass that long to run to the damn store. Lisa why they hell you on my ass about it, you ain't my momma. Damn right and I ain't theirs either but you left them here like they our damn responsibility. So you don't want my kids here?

Hey what's going on? Mom where you been you, dropped off Marco and Jazmin like two days ago? She was still staring Titi down and Titi was looking equally as mean back to her. Come on kids we getting the hell up out of here she said snapping for them to come out the living room. Manny go get your stuff. Nope he stays, you not about to have Jay on my ass for you taking him. You said you didn't want my damn kids here Lisa and he's mine despite what yall think.

Titi sniffed a little and walked up on my mom, like real close so the others couldn't hear her. Listen to me Mari I don't give a fuck if you gave birth to Charli we been raising him since he was three and half and yo ass couldn't keep a job or a man, so now you want to be a damn mother. You need to get your shit together before your other two kids get taken as well. My mom stepped back and looked at her like she wanted to hit her, but she knew that wouldn't be good. Like at all. Come on Jazmin and Marco she said leaving without even saying bye to me."

That was about what 8 months ago she even missed my birthday which I wasn't really bothered by cause true to form Gigi went all out for me like she always does. I mean she gave me the best birthday I've ever had so I didn't let it bother me that my own mother couldn't put her differences aside to show up to my birthday. I don't know if Titi ever told Gigi what happened since she was out of town in Cali with Mimi working. I just hope nothing pops off at this little family shindig she has planned for me getting these awards at school.

It was the fall assembly that the school does every year for the graduating seniors and I am getting some awards for academics and fine arts. Once Gigi found out she made a big deal and invited everyone over after the assembly for refreshments.

Charli where is your mom the assembly starts in like 15 minutes, Gigi said looking around. I don't know Gigi I called her but she didn't answer so I...before I could finish the sentence I saw her walk in with Xavier, Jazmin, and Marco. Yeah Xavier is still in the picture, apparently he's just as addictive as the prescription pills she was taking. The only good thing I could say is that he was trying to change if not for my mom but for Jazmin and Marco.

There she is Gigi I said motioning for her to look behind her. Oh thank you lord I thought she was going to miss it. I looked at Titi and she rolled her eyes at my mom as they exchanged looks. I gave her a pleading look like please do not pop off in this school with all of these people looking at us. She reassured me that she wouldn't and I acknowledged my mother.

Hi Manny! Hi mom! I am so proud of you for doing so good in school and with your music.  Thanks mom I said looking around as she hugged me. Hey what's up X? Nothing much young thug. This nigga continues to call me young thug like I am sort of drug dealer or something. I shook off his comment and turned towards Marco and Jazmin. What up Marco? Nothing bro, so this your school? Yeah it is, you like it.? Yeah Nigga its big. Boy what I tell you about that word mama said slapping him upside the head. Ma damn that shit hurt. Excuse you Marco Alonzo what did you just say to your mother Gigi said standing up next to him. I..I...didn't. Don't you dare lie boy you know you don't speak to your mom like that? You got better sense than that boy now apologize before something bad happens to you she said giving him the eye. Marco know damn well Gigi don't play she will get with his ass on the real and quick. Yes ma'am I am sorry mama for speaking that way to you. Mhm she said motioning for him to sit down.
