The house has been real quiet all day none of the moms have been really talking and I could of swore that I heard mommy crying earlier. I ran into mama coming out of Charli's room with a trash bag. Hey mama! Hey Vi! What you doing in Charli's room? Cleaning out this stuff before Jay and Ti find out about it. Is it the alcohol and weed? She looked at me with confusion and shock. You knew about this stuff? I promise I am not being a snitch mama, but he's had it here for a while. And yall didn't tell us, what if one of the little kids had gotten into it. I knew this is something I didn't want to tell her but I am too far into it now. Mama can we talk in your room. I knew she didn't have cameras in the room so this wouldn't come back on me if the other kids found out. Yeah come on she said as we walked to her room, we opened the door to see momma asleep.

Shh she said as we tipped toed to their closet and up to their secret room where she sat the bag down. So what were you going to tell me? You remember a couple of months ago when yall came home to Tron being sick. Yeah he had a stomach virus or something. It wasn't a stomach virus. What was it then? We were hanging out in Charli's room watching movies and he ate some brownies that he had in his drawer. Oh god she said covering her mouth. That's why he was sick? They were what they call edibles, right I said. Avari why didn't yall tell us then? We weren't even sure what they were until Tron got sick and Charli started flipping out. How many did he eat? Two of them, they were about this big I said showing her. 

She didn't say anything she just sat there with there with her mouth covered shaking her head. Mama! Yeah Vi she said shaking her head. Is Charli okay? No he isn't, he's in the hospital for running his car into a tree. Oh my god I said starting to cry. When did this happen and why didn't yall tell us. It happened last night and we are still processing it ourselves. I wanna go see him I said standing up. Vi! No mom I want to go see him. You can't! Why not...did he die? No he didn't! Ti signed him up for a 30 day inpatient drug program he can't have visitors right now. Don't say nothing else to the other kids okay, we're gonna sit down and explain this to yall. Okay I said fixing my face. I am serious Avari nothing to the other kids until we can talk to yall later on. I got it mom I said leaving the room.

I went back to my room closed the door to my side of the room and started to cry. I know Charli and I act like we don't like each other but I truly do love him. He's my big brother the only other person besides our moms who will take care of us. I heard a knock on the door. Elle open the door. Not right now Lo. Arielle open the door! I know your crying I can feel your pain. I got up and let her in. What's the matter she said wiping the tears from my face. Charli was in a wreck last night. WHAT she said breathing heavy? Mama found all of his alcohol and the weed in his room. NO! NO! She was shaking her head and crying. Why didn't they tell us? They were still processing it themselves. He didn't die did he? No but he's in bad shape mama signed him into a 30 day inpatient drug program. We sat there crying for the next two hours until we heard mommy and Roro come back home.

Yall come down stairs please I said calling for the kids to come down so we can talk to them about what happened to Charli. Jay is back right, Li said? Yeah she in there on the phone with the insurance company about the hospital bill because Charli's insurance lapsed or something like that. Where's Ti? I am right here she said coming out the kitchen. Okay I am ready Jay said coming out the office.

All the kids were now sitting in the living room waiting for us to talk to them. Alright yall we need to talk about something serious that happened last night. What happened mom Tron said. Charli was in a bad car wreck. What they all said except Lo and Vi who were quiet so obviously they already knew about it. Is he okay Chase said with a tear rolling down her cheek? We aren't gonna lie to yall he's not doing good right now but he is alive. Did it have to do with the bottles he has in his room, Tron said?
