I was up at the butt crack of dawn ready to call about claiming my money. I had spent the whole weekend planning how we would pay off this house, set our kids up with college funds, make sure our mama's was taking care of, and last but not least making sure we could get our month on a private island. 30 days of us being together and reconnecting without any interruptions, work, friends, nagging baby daddies, or baby mama's since we deal with both of B's. Just peace quiet and serenity.

I grabbed the paper and dialed the number because it said their offices opened at 7 am so at 6:45 I was ready. The phone rang and rang before it clicked like the line hung up. Maybe their lines aren't fully up I'll wait a few more minutes and try again. I waited like 10 minutes and called again.

Jay why the hell you calling me at 7 in the damn morning. Brandon! I said looking at the phone? Yeah nigga you called me. Uh I am sorry I was trying to call someone else. Yeah I am sure don't be calling me this damn early in the morning. Is Liyah not giving you any is that why you bitching so early? Click! His ass hung up on me. Aint my fault he aint getting any I thought to myself as I grabbed the stuff to make breakfast. Okay let me look at this number again maybe I dialed it wrong. I put it in exactly how it was on the letter and put it on speaker while I got stuff ready.

Jay what the fuck is your damn problem it is 7 in the damn morning. Nigga what are you talking about I am trying to reach the Georgia Lottery Commission. Why! Cause nigga my ass won and I am trying to get my paper. Shut up sis you won the lottery? Yeah remember a few weeks ago it was up to 460 million. Yeah no body claimed that shit either. Well apparently I won it and didn't realize it. Jay you serious you won 460 million and didn't realize it? That shit don't make any sense. I know but you know I missed the number that week, but I still went and registered the ticket. And they waited two weeks to notify you. Well they had to mail the letter B. Yeah but it shouldn't have taken 2 weeks. I stopped and thought for a minute why would it take 2 weeks especially after I registered the numbers too.

So why you keep calling me. This is the number that was in the letter. Wow Jay. What! Someone in your house just pulled the ultimate prank on you. Naw the letter is official with letter head and everything. Dang sis! Why don't you google the actual phone number for the lottery commission and see what they tell you. Fine I am sure I just transposed a number when I was dialing it. Okay let me know sis he said as he chuckled before hanging up.

I immediately Googled the Georgia Lottery commission and sure enough it was different. What the hell is going on and why is this number different. I dialed the number on the website and the phone rang. Georgia Lottery Commission! Yes I am calling about a letter I received in the mail regarding the drawing two weeks ago. Okay did it say a contact person's uhh yeah LT Thopekins. Pardon me! The letter says LT Thopekins. I am sorry ma'am but we don't have anyone here by that name. But wait I just got this letter on Saturday surely somewhere there sent it. I don't think so, but if you want to send the letter over to us we can look at it. I started looking at the envelope and noticing there was no postage marks on it and actually it wasn't even sealed like it was just placed in the mail box. Is someone playing a trick on me cause this ain't the right kind of joke to play.

Hey Mom, I said walking in the kitchen. Hey baby where is your sister? She's still knocked out. Mama is upstairs threatening to pour ice water on her, I said laughing. I noticed she looked a little confused like she couldn't understand something. You sure you okay mom? Yeah I am just confused by this letter I got. What was it for? It says I won the lottery but when I called the Lottery commission it wasn't the right number. It was actually B's number. That's weird maybe you mixed up the numbers. No I did it like 4 times and then I googled the actual number and called them.
