*Charli*

I was nervous as hell sitting in that court room waiting for the judge to make his ruling on my case. I looked behind me and all of my family was there, well with the exception of the kids and Gigi! Where the hell was Gigi I would expect her to be the first person here for me. I locked eyes with Nia and she mouthed to me "I love you". I smiled and mouthed back to her I love you too.

Mr. Anderson please stand. My lawyer helped me to stand up with my crutches. Young man do you know how lucky you are to be standing here today? Yes your honor! Your counselor tells me you have prepared a written statement. Yes your honor I have. You can begin.

I reached for the paper on the table and began to read my statement when I heard the door open behind me. I looked over my shoulder and it was Gigi and my mom. I was dumbfounded for a moment because my mom looked so different I mean her face her clothes she just looked different. I'd never seen her this way ever. She looked clean for once in my life.

Mr. Anderson! I am sorry your honor. I want to start off by saying that I take full responsibility for my actions. The night that I drove my car into a tree I was being irresponsible and I have no one to blame but myself for that. I do realize that I could have killed not only myself but my cousin and someone else that had been in the way that night. And for that I am sincerely sorry. I wasn't raised that way and I know better. I have 13 siblings that I need to be a role model for and I would never want them to do what I did. I also want to apologize the people who love me I said turning and looking them. Without yall I don't know where I'd be at. I folded up the paper and looked back at the judge.

Mr. Anderson I've reviewed your file and the letters written on your behalf by your counselors and various family member. I have my ruling and I believe that it is fair and just.

My heart was beating fast as hell standing their waiting for him to tell me weather I was gonna go to jail or home.

In your case Charli Anderson I find you guilty!

The whole court room gasped when he said that. I swallowed hard waiting for him to finish.

And I am sentencing you to...2,000 hours of community service. You will be remanded to the...he looked at me with a straight face. You remanded to the home of your aunts where they can continue to help you make wise decisions not only for yourself but for your siblings as well. I literally fell in my seat and began to cry. He didn' send me jail!

Mr. Anderson. Yes your honor I said looking up at him. You are an extremely lucky young man to have a family that loves you the way they do. In every letter I read it was nothing but how loving you are and how much of a big help you are. I believe that this was teenage mistake and I will never see you in my court room again. You won't your honor I promise you that. Good! Court is adjourned he said banging his gavel.

The first person to me was Nia! She was hugging me and telling me how much she loves me. I love you too Nia I said holding her by the waist. Hey I think this belongs to you I said pulling the ring out my pocket. You kept it. Hell yeah I did it was expensive and I still have the intent to make you Mrs. Anderson one day. I love you so much she said as I wiped the tears off her face.

After Nia I was literally attacked by my aunts. Alright! Alright let the boy go my dad said literally pulling them off of me. Negro this my nephew Gigi said still hugging me. He's a grown ass man let him go. You got one more time to pop off at me B and it's that ass! She said letting me go. Yeah Okay Jay he said shaking his head. Oh he think cause he a man I won't hurt his ass.

Jay! Titi said! What! Shut up now! She gave her a shocked expression like I know she ain't tell me to shut up. Jay don't start Mimi said backing up Titi. So both of yall wanna be like that, that's okay I still got Roro she said grabbing Ro. The expressions on their faces said it all. Don't put me in that Jay Roro said. Well fine I am sure I can find me another fine ass wife she said walking off from the group with them following behind her. Never! No other women will ever treat you the way we do they said.
