Wake up baby boy! No I am sleep! Boy get up! No Mom its too early! Fine you're going to miss the party and all the gifts. Gifts I said popping up. I knew that would get you up mom said laughing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Nicholas Andrew! She said kissing my forehead. Thanks mom! My baby boy is 11 years old now. I still remember the day you were born. Oh no please not a trip down memory lane. Yes a good trip down memory lane. You decided that you didn't want to wait till your real birthday you wanted to come early. My real birthday! Yeah you should have been born on the 27th but no you had to come on the 16th. I went into labor at our reception. Yall got married on my birthday? No baby we'd been married for almost 3 and half months before you were born we just didn't have a reception after the wedding because we didn't have everyone there.

You didn't have everyone there? Nope it was just the 4 us and the minister. We surprised Mommy she had no clue. How in the world did yall do that? It took a lot of work but we pulled it off she said looking off like she had a good memory.

Is mommy coming for my party? Unfortunately, not baby she couldn't get a flight to come out and then fly back. But she sent you some stuff she said leading me out of my room towards the living room. It's not the same as her being here though. I know baby and she does too but she wanted to make it up to you. Here she said handing me the gift bag. I opened it and it was the magic kit that I had been begging them to get me. Oh my god! Yeah she bought it and please Nicholas don't break it or make anything of value disappear out of this house. I won't I promise I said looking at all the stuff that was in the bag.

What time is it in Texas, I want to call and thank her? Ugh about 10:30. Can I skype her. Yeah go get the computer she should be up by now. I grabbed the laptop, pulled up the skype and called her. It took a few minutes for her to answer but she finally did.

My baby! Hi Mom! Happy Birthday baby! Thanks so much for the stuff mama. You're welcome and I feel so bad that I couldn't make it to your party. I know but you're coming home soon right! Yes sir I am I think I have a couple more weeks and then mommy will be home for good. You promise! Of course, have I ever broken my promises to you? Nope you haven't. I hear mama has a big party planned for you. All my friends are going to be there and so is dad! That's good baby! You want to talk to mom or Roro? No I want to talk to you I can talk to them anytime.

How is my big boy? Oh wait I can't call you that now cause you getting to be a young man. Mom! See its starting now. You aren't going to call me mommy forever. Only in private cause you know I got a reputation now I said laughing. Oh a reputation huh! Yeah you know the girls like the kid. The kid, you mean the kid I just bought a magic kit. That's a family secret no one needs to know about that okay? Deal!

You like your school and stuff? I love it, it's not like Georgia mom, the kids are totally different and the teachers aren't worried about what goes on in our house like they were before. Really now! Yeah back at home the teachers were always worrying about what was going on in our house that they forgot they were teachers. That's sad when a kid knows more than the teacher does. Tell me about it. They care, but only about what's going on in school. I mean Roro came and took me to lunch and they didn't even question her about it. As they shouldn't she's your mother too.

We talked for a little bit longer before she had to go. I love you Nicholas! I love you to mom! Tell mom I said hi I will.

So how was yalls talk mom said coming back in the living room? Good she misses the kid! Oh you the kid now! Yeah always been. Well kid go brush your teeth and get ready folks are gonna be here around 12:30. Cool, dad coming? Yup he's bringing Chase back since you didn't want to go over there this weekend. It's not that I didn't want to go I just don't particularly care for his wife and her attitude. If it becomes too much of a problem Andrew just tell your dad and he can talk to her. Can you talk to her? Ugh nah that probably shouldn't happen anytime soon she said laughing.
