~Charli~
The kickback was in full swing and now it was time to start filming the interview. As an ode to them we decided to do an interview with video clips, pictures, and songs that encompassed our childhood. So, it wouldn't seem to out of the norm we started with the older kids while the younger ones kept an eye on the others. We were set up in their secret room because we needed to be able to watch the kickback but we also needed a certain level of privacy from everyone else being nosy. Lucky for us we have two distractions. Zoelle and Zaiden they'll keep everyone busy and out of our hair and if they don't work they rest of the family knows what to do to keep them distracted and out of or hair.
Okay so I wrote down a few questions to start off with to get it going and then from there we can go with the flow. Okay they said settling in.
- How would you describe our childhood?
Vi: Wheew... our childhood was...it was different. Not different in a bad way but it was crazy and hectic. I mean come on now how many kids you know that grow up with 4 moms?
Lo: Not even 4 when we were little it was just mommy till we were about what 5 or 6.
Charli: You say it like your mom wasn't around and she was, just not the way she should have been. Titi was definitely there for yall. And so was Mimi! She took yall every other weekend. Roro may have kept her distance for reasons I don't know but she still loved yall.
Avari: Don't get me wrong because I love my mother. I love her to death but Lo is right it's a part of our childhood and that's that she wasn't around like she wanted to be but at the same time we know why she wasn't. She more than made up for it in the later years of our childhood.
Tron: well that could be said for any of them. I mean they weren't all around for me either. Not that I am salty or anything but I ain't come around till I was 6.
Vi: That's one thing that was never really explained to us. It was just boom she came back and she brought you with her.
Charli: I think it was more so that Roro didn't want to confuse things. She was around when Gigi had her...her um accidents. She came when she was sleeping and made sure I was taken care of.
Tron: Just interesting how at one point in time they'd all checked out for a lack of better words.
Chase: Isn't the real question here to describe our childhood. All of it the good the bad and the ugly?
Charli: In that case it different. I can't say I hated it, but I can't say I loved it either it was different. More so for me because they were my aunts and not really my parents.
Lo: Sure was different but you know what even though it was different I wouldn't change it for the world.
Vi: Me either. And I must admit we had some of the best times together. Holidays, birthdays, the kickbacks. It was like being back in their hay day except with age appropriate events for us. At some points they treated us like friends. Honestly if things had been different we probably wouldn't be as close as we are today.
Tron: True that! I think I can speak for Chase and I when I say that we are grateful to have come in when we did. We were at that age where we knew what life was like before they got back together. But coming in when we did it was the better because they knew what mistakes they made and how not to make them again. And you could feel the love!
Chase: And hear it! Lord knows they missed each other but damn they had to miss each other every night.
