Andy pov.

After I had left the bistro I headed over to the Hollywood video for some movies. I ended up picking out Red, The Mechanic, and the complete season of Criminal Minds. The last choice was more for me, most people I know weren't into the show so I watched it on my own. I hurried home and started on dinner whipping up Fettucini Alfredo and a ceasar salad on the side. I also popped some popcorn and mixed it with marshmellows and caramel, then I separated it into little golden balls. Popcorn balls were my favorite, add that with the fact that they were far less messy than popcorn alone. Which meant if I were ever watching a horror movie and jumped out of my skin and spilled the popcorn, all I'd have to do for clean up is pick up balls. Ah, what simplicity.

Instead of changing into lounging clothes like I normally would I stayed in my outfit, in case Casey came straight from work and didn't have the chance to change. My cell phone started to ring as I was finishing off the caramel meaning my hands were all sticky, I searched for a towel to wipe my hands but came up dry. Just then the doorbell rang how lovely was that?

I managed to turn the lock with my elbow.

"It's open just turn the knob!" I hollered through the door.

Casey opened the door reluctantly popping his head inside, he spotted me dead in front of him and blinked.

"Hi, is-"

I cut him off with my phone still ringing.

"Could you do me a big favor? Well actually two," I spun around with my back to him. "Could you take my phone out of my back pocket and put it to my ear, please?"

"Uhh, you want me to reach in your back pocket?"

I nodded frantically and glanced at him over my shoulder.

"Yeah, just dig in there and get it."

He took a step further into the house and reached for my pocket, I felt his fingers slip into it and graze my bottom while he gripped the phone and pulled it out. I spun around quickly after he pressed answer and allowed him to hold it to my ear.

"Andy, why have you been avoiding my calls and texts?" Jared's upset voice came through the speaker.

I wished I would've let it ring and ring and ring with no answer, but it was too late. I manouvered the phone with my head onto my shoulder, mouthing a thank you to Casey.

"Who said I was ignoring them how do you know I wasn't busy?" I retorted back to Jared.

"What could you possibly be busy with?"

I rolled my eyes.

"Nothing you should be concerned with, you got any special plans tonight?"

I moved into the kitchen but remembered the second favor I needed, I ran awkwardly back to the doorway where Casey was shutting the door, he jumped in surprise which made me snigger inside of my mouth.

"I'm sorry I forgot the other thing I needed, would you mind running upstairs and getting me a hand towel? The linen closet is right across from the first room."

He nodded and climbed the stairs. I tuned back into the conversation with Jared who was ranting about his plans for tonight, I was less than interested but I knew asking about him would keep him off my case. Though I should be the one on his for his idiocy earlier, I had no clue why was even still talking to him. Casey returned with a TWO hand towels and draped one over my hand while he tackled the other hand. I was right about him coming straight from work, he was dressed well and he still had his name tag on. Alas the caramel was gone from my hands, I breathed a sigh of relief and tossed both the towels in the sink.
