Casey pov.

First day on the job was pretty tiring, it made me feel old. I wasn't used to coming home sluggish and tired, just like the typical working man I plopped on the couch in front of the television. Mom purred my name from the top of the stairs, I was reluctant to look at her but I did. I watched her do some strange can-can over to the couch and end in a very vogue like pose.

A wide smile crawled onto her face.

"Do you know what today is?"

I replayed her ridiculous dance in my head, unable to hide my goofy grin.

"Other than Friday, I'm afraid not. What is today?"

Another pose was executed before her reply.

"Its friday night fever; in other words it is the night we all go dancing. Why aren't you dressed?"

I scratched my head awkwardly.

"Simply because I wasn't aware of this night, when did we all agree on Friday night fever?"

She let her arms sag at her sides.

"Last night at the party, I could swear you have memory loss sometimes."

I snapped my fingers and pointed at her.

"Ah, there is the problem, I was out taking care of a few things."

Mom sighed miserably begginning to clap at me.

"Well, get a move on it, chop chop! Upstairs, dancing shoes and ensemble now. Go, go, go!" She shooed me off the couch.

Feeling as if I weighed a thousand pounds I trudged up the stairs to my room. Twenty minutes later I was clad in black slacks, a royal blue button down shirt, and Camper Tods dress shoes. I added a silver watch and changed my everyday glasses for my silver frames, once I was finished I joined Mom in the living room. Jared and Dad were down as well both of them dressed alike, he was his Father's son. Both of them blond and blue eyed; not to mention cocky as all get up. Mom and I were two of a kind, brunette with forest green orbs; complete opposites. The four of us loaded into Dad's Scion off to wherever it was we were headed.

Eventually we pulled up at a place called House of Dance, Mom was first out of the car in an excited frenzy, Dad laughed and followed her inside. I stayed in my seat and glanced at my brother, he was adjusting the cuffs on his suit jacket.

"You agreed to this?" I confirmed.

He looked up at me and smirked.

"Of course I did, ladies love a man that has skills on the dance floor."

Of course, this is Jared we're talking about; all of his actions are centered around what the ladies think.

"I hope you realize you gave up every one of your Friday nights, when Mom and Dad become obsessed with something; they are control freaks." I pointed out.

He laughed.

"Chill, Bro. I know that I will be unavailable every Friday night, that makes the ladies think I'm totally commited to my girl. Which makes them want me even more, eh, you see."

I rolled my eyes and slipped out of the car, leaving my neanderthal brother by himself. Blaring latin music enveloped me when I stepped into the dance studio, it was dimly lit and Mom and Dad were already attempting to move to the music. I could see what looked like an instructor guiding them step by step; wait were we supposed to have random dance partners? As an answer to my question someone spun into my arms, hooking their leg around mine and rubbing their hands in my hair. Taken by surprise I held the person still to get a look at their face, my stomach knotted when I recognized the familiar woman.
