Casey pov.

I had yet to feel as well rested in my life, as I did when I woke up next to Andy. We somehow managed to remain in the same sleep position as when we drifted to sleep last night and I adored having a glimpse at her sleeping form on my chest. Her long lashes layed against her cheeks and her lips were slightly parted as she breathed deep and even. Before I knew it there was a huge grin on my face and I found myself combing my fingers through her fallen curls.

Her sleepy eyes blinked open and glanced up at me catching the smile I was wearing, "I drooled on you didn't I?"

I chuckled and shrugged, "Why don't we check it out," she lifted her head and examined my undershirt, the coast was clear, "dry as a desert."

Lazily, she dropped her head back onto my chest, shutting her eyes and yawning out, "So what's with the smile then?"

"You're cute when you sleep," I mused not able to remove the ridiculous grin from my mouth.

Grunting in response she sat up and smiled down at me, "You're cute all the time," she teased pinching my cheek.

That tore my smile away and a flat expression took it's place, I loathed it when people called me cute. Made me feel like an adoloscent that just pooped it's first diaper.

"Thanks." I deadpanned.

Laughing openly at my unimpressed response and face she crawled over my body to get off of her bed. I quite enjoyed having her hover over me but it was a brief moment of pleasure.

"What is it with guys and the word 'cute'? Does it burn your soul to hear that or what?"

I rubbed my eyes and and too sat up, reaching over to her nightstand for my glasses. I slid them onto my face and watched her in her bathroom, pasting her toothbrush and scrubbing away.

I took the liberty of clarifying things from my perspective whilst stretching out my stiff limbs.

"Cute is associated with things such as kittens and puppies and birds, tiny little fruits and babies and toddlers, especially to women. The use of that adjective pertaining to me and my physical appearance automatically makes me think of the previously listed things. Therefore it strips me of my masculinity and doesn't serve as a compliment."

Andy laughed around her toothbrush and spit into the sink, rinsing her brush and her mouth as well, "Alright I see what you mean now and I will never, ever call you cute again." She stooped down to drop a kiss on my lips sending a shiver of desire up my vertebrae.

"Mmm, minty." I hummed happily holding onto her waist, "I should probably head home," I glanced at the clock that read eight o'clock which gave me an hour to get to work. I was actually relieved that it was Friday until I remembered that it was also the night we had to go dancing. While I loved dancing and learning new styles, it wasn't very enjoyable anymore because Naiomi stopped coming out with me. She had been in a rut since she discovered the news regarding Colby.

"Can I make you some breakfast before you go?" She offered fondling the hair at the nape of my neck.

I squeezed her waist once and shook my head hating to decline her offer, "As much as I would love that, I have a little less than an hour to get home and get changed for work. I appreciate the gesture though and I had a wonderful time with you, like always."

"Me too Casey, here let me walk you out."

I released her petite frame and slipped into last night's attire also opting to make up her bed for her. Together we left her room and I allowed her to escort me to my car, she even went as far as opening and closing my door for me.
