Okay let's all take a moment to admire this picture above. I could've shed a tear during this scene I'm not gonna lie.

M A G N U S

"It's rude to stare, Alexander." I mumbled, eyes remaining closed whilst I lay there.

"I wasn't staring." I heard him scoff, smirk forming on my face whilst I rolled over, slowly opening my eyes in order to face Alec.

"Don't deny what's true, Alec. You know you can't lie to me." I chuckled, inching closer towards the slightly blushing boy.

I placed my hand on his cheek, gently caressing it as I leaned in, softly placing my lips against his slightly chapped ones.

"You do realise my sister's right next door, right?" He mumbled against my lips, making me grin at the flustered shadowhunter.

"She went downstairs twenty minutes ago with Simon, you have nothing to worry about." I stated, leaning in to reconnect our lips once again.

"What about Jace and Clary?" He pulled away once again, body hovering above my own.

"They're downstairs too." I shrugged, pulling Alec towards me, but he resisted my touch once again.

"We should be down there too, you know. We need to solve this whole family prophecy." Alec stated, rolling off of me in one swift movement.

"You're such a buzz kill, Alexander." I sighed, shaking my head slightly whilst I reached over to grab a shirt before getting up.

"I'll make it up to you tonight, but right now, we've got bigger things to be dealing with." Alec stated, pulling me towards the door along with him.

"Is that so? And how exactly will you make it up to me?" I questioned cockily, bringing Alec to a halt.

"However you want me to, warlock." Alec smirked, staring me in the eye one last time before turning around once again, dragging me down the long staircase.

"I look forward to it, shadowhunter." I smirked, watching as Alec chuckled slightly before tugging me into the living room.

Our chuckles died down the minute we entered the room, our laughter being cut off by the scene in front of us.

Clary stood leaning against the nearby wall with Jace by her side, nervous looks settled across their faces. Opposite them was Simon, sighing loudly whilst Isabelle sat on the sofa nearby, head resting in her hands.

"Who died?" I questioned sarcastically, earning four glares and a slap round the head off of Alec.

"It's not the time, Magnus." Isabelle sighed in frustration, standing up as she began to pace.

"What happened?" Alec spoke up, advancing forward into the room, heading over to stand directly in front of Jace and Clary.

"We think we know who wants to inherit the baby's power." Simon spoke up before anyone else could, causing me to glance confusedly at the daylighter.

"What?" I questioned, staring back and forth between Jace and Clary's expressionless yet worried features.

"Clary had a dream last night, and in the dream, Sebastian was there, and he took the baby." Jace sighed.

"Is this true, Clary?" I questioned, advancing forward towards the quiet shadowhunter that usually wasn't capable of keeping her mouth shut.

"Yes. I know it was a dream, and I know that there's still a possibility that it could all be in my head, but it felt like more of a warning than a dream." She spoke up, crossing her arms over her bump.
