Draco's stubby wand flew out of his hands, deftly into Granger's.
"Granger-"
"No, Malfoy, you piece of scum, you can't just Obliviate me! I can't believe this..." she muttered to herself, pocketing Draco's wand. He seethed as his wand dissapeared from his vision.
"Give me back my wand."
Draco could almost see the puzzle peices slot together in Granger's brain.
Silently, Granger handed his wand to him, almost as if she was in a trance, careful not to touch his fingers with her own. He frowned as he placed it back in his robes.
"I never thanked you," Granger said suddenly, breaking the pregnant pause.
"For what?" he replied warily, running his long fingers through his hair.
"For saving Ginny."
"Oh."
"Thank you."
I didn't do it for you, Draco thought, but didn't voice.
"Alright."
"But you don't deserve to touch her. You shouldn't even be in here," Granger threatened shakily, holding her wand at him. "Get out."
He stared at her silently.
"So..." Granger mumbled, sitting beside Ginny. Draco remained standing. "That's why you saved her."
Merlin, I can't stand this know-it-all nosy cow.
"I don't have time for this," Draco started, moving towards the Hospital Wing exit, "I have someone I need to find." And kill, he added in his head.
"Valence?"
Draco turned, momentarily shocked. Oh, what the Hell. However, before he could confirm, Albus Dumbledore had burst through the doors.
