"Hey," a voice said lightly. Ginny turned slowly to face Harry.

"Hey, Harry," she said, smiling. Despite her warm demeanour, Ginny was gobsmacked on the inside; it's the first time Harry had spoken to her since they (and Hermione) had spoken in the Great Hall. Also, Ginny was aware of Harry's true feelings for her, ever since she and Draco eavesdropped on Harry and Luna. Ginny tried not to think about that as she plastered an encouraging grin on her face.

"What are you doing?" he asked carefully, making sure to keep at least a meter between them. He stumbled over his own feet and blushed. Frowning slightly as she observed this, Ginny looked back at the Hogwarts noticeboard and pointed at the most recent leaflet.

"Duelling matches... the last one in a week's time!" Harry, murmured. "Look, names!" His eyes scanned the page. "You're here, and... wait, me?"

"Of course, Harry!" Ginny said brightly, with a hint of evil. "You obviously were the best in your class!"

Much to Ginny's satisfaction, Harry looked abashed. "I... urr... I didn't win. Malfoy did." Harry spat the name.

"So, is his name on it, too?" Ginny asked politely, already knowing the answer.

Suddenly, Harry whirled around, throwing the leaflet on the floor. He pinned Ginny tightly between his arms as he rested his palms on the wall beside her head.

"Harry!" Ginny squeaked, too shocked to try to move.

"Just because Draco saved you at that fucking Quidditch match, doesn't mean he's some fucking saint, all right? He only helped us in the Shrieking Shack because he had to, he's nothing! I know things about him that would make you squirm, Ginny, so don't you ever go thinking about him."

It was then that Ginny could smell alcohol on Harry's breath.

"You're drunk-"

"Ginny, you know how much I love you, and I know that you love me too, so just... please..."

His lips took over anything Ginny might've said. She struggled under his grasp, but he was too strong, too drunk to care. Falling limp momentarily, Ginny hesitantly kissed him back so he wouldn't see her reach for her wand. She shivered at the taste of Fire Whisky. As soon as Harry withdrew for breath, Ginny yelled, "Stupefy!". Watching Harry crumble to the floor made Ginny want to do the same.

All Ginny ever wanted was to be with Harry Potter, her childhood crush for years. She'd followed him like a puppy, and even asked Merlin in the Sky to get Harry to fall in love with her. It seens as though Merlin had just recieved the owl.

But no, not anymore. That Ginny is long gone, now. There's only one person that Ginny would ever follow, and he's sound asleep in her bed.
