"One one visitor at night, girls, you know the rules."
"Yes Madame Pomphrey, I'll leave in a minute, thank you."
"Okay girls, I'm off to bed, lock the door behind you, Miss Granger."
"I will!"
"Alright, good night girls."
Shuffles
"Hermione, wait." a warm, exotic voice said.
"Yes, 'Varti?"
"The... boy who I was telling you about."
"Right. 'Varti, I'm really glad you told me about him, I-"
"-I just know that it's HIM. He's the one that wake her up. I know it."
"'Varti... I don't know if he'll come."
"Hermione, you should've seen her. She was in love. I could see it in her eyes. He must've loved her, too. He will come. He has to."
"'Varti... I'm going to bed now. I'll be back in the morning. Sweet dreams."
"You too, 'Mione."
Draco ducked behind a gargoyle as Granger rushed past, fluffing her bushy hair behind her. After waiting five minutes, Draco sneaked towards the Hospital Wing entrance. He peeked through the window. A girl he may have seen once or twice was sitting next to Ginny's bed. She has an identical twin in Ravenclaw, Draco was sure of it. With her exotic caramel skin, developed curves and shocking dark eyes and hair, Draco recalled the boys with whom he shared his dormitory saying that she'd be the only Gryffindor they'd be with. Draco certainly saw the attraction. However, his eyes were only for the sleeping figure next to her.
"Alohomora," Draco whispered. As the door cracked open, Ginny's friend jumped up, wand in hand immediately. Dropping his on the floor, Draco put his hands in the air as surrender. Parvati's wand hand lowered immediately.
"You saved Ginny," she said suddenly, and Draco was instantly warmed and comforted by her voice. Why, he didn't know.
"Yes," he replied shortly, unwilling to let her see the effect she has on him. Well, she's probably used to it, he thought.
"It's you. You're the guy she's been having an affair with."
For some reason, Draco didn't want to lie to this girl. Ginny'd told Draco how much Parvati meant to her, and how Parvati saved Ginny from missing her detention. Draco felt a sudden respect for this Gryffindor.
"Yes," he repeated, staring at his sleeping beauty.
"I'll leave you to it," Parvati said quietly, leaving the Hospital Wing.
"Thank you," he murmured, and she smiled suddenly, her features enlightening.
"Thank YOU," she grinned, "I knew you'd come." And with that note, she left.
Draco turned, and faced Ginny. At last, he was here, with her.
Slowly, he walked towards her, his shoes slapping the floor not unlike the way Ginny's did, when she healed Draco's arms. Tap, tap, tap.
When he reached her, he couldn't help but stroke her hair, and caress her cheeks. It was because of him that she is in this state, and now he was going to free her.
Bending down, Draco closed his eyes as his lips touched hers.
