"So, who is he again?" Liam asked as he sat down on my sofa next to Cody.

"Who's who?" Cassy asked curiously, sitting beside to me on my bed.

"Jane's got a lover." Cody grinned as he pulled off his smelly shoes.

"Cody! I told you not to tell anyone." I yelled at him with a frown.

Cody obviously heard the commotion in my room the other night and snuck in right after Dylan left. He wouldn't believe me when I told him I was on the phone with Cassy and I was forced to spill the beans. The idiot obviously told Liam and now he was interrogating me about it. And Murphy's Law, Cassy just happened to be here when he asked me about it. I was dreading this conversation, mostly because I hadn't spilt the beans to my best friend yet.

"Jane, what is he talking about?" Cassy asked, her brow furrowing slightly.  When my eyes fell down guiltily she sat up and glared at me.

Cody smirked as he whispered, "Uh oh... guess the cat's outta the bag."

"Jane Rose Fuller. You better tell me what he's talking about right now or I swear I'll–" Cassy started but I cut her off before she could finish her threat.

"Alright, chill." I sighed and shot daggers at Cody who simply shrugged me off. "You know that guy from the club in the east?"

"Yeah? Sexy eyes – the one who was flagging you practically the whole night."

"Cass. I thought I was the only one who had sexy eyes to you." Cody whined playfully, egging on Cassy's irritation.

"You're not the topic of conversation, love." she said through gritted teeth, "So shut up."

Cody moaned, "Yes, ma'am."

She turned back to me as I rolled my eyes at my brother and continued. "Well, I've kinda been seeing him..."

"What!" She bellowed.

"Well not seeing him." I added hastily. "Just-like talking...."

"Talking my ass. He came over for a booty call a few nights ago." Cody piped up and Liam nearly choked on his pizza slice.

"What!" he said once he'd spat it out.

Cassy's eyes shot from Cody's to mine and she yelled out, "Jane!"

"He didn't come over for a booty call." I growled at Cody and Cassy's eyes still glared at me.

"What happened to telling each other everything?" She said.

"Yeah, what happened to that, Jane?" Cody echoed her and I shot him another look to kill.

"I just didn't think anything was going to happen. That's why I didn't tell you." I admitted.

"Why would you think nothing's going to happen?"

"Uh oh... major detail being left out here." Cody added with a sly smirk. He was getting a kick out of this. Yes, Cody and I saw eye-to-eye, but he was still my brother. And that meant he still thoroughly enjoyed irritating the shit out of me.

I sighed in frustration and whispered the big secret. "Because he's from 58."

Silence filled the room. Why was it I always happened to discuss my potential love interests openly with these three? Oh yeah, that's right – because Cody was my brother. And nothing is ever kept a secret in our tiny social circle if Cody lands up hearing about it. If he knows, everyone else is bound to know too.

"What?" Liam spoke, his eyes as wide as Cassy's with shock. "How is he...? I mean, how did he...?" the words froze on his lips and I shrugged.

"No clue." I answered honestly. Because I really didn't know how Dylan got around and I didn't buy that whole, 'I walked straight through 56 sections without any problems' crap. "You can't tell anyone." I said to both Cassy and Liam. Cody already knew the deal and I trusted that he wouldn't tell. The secret was already out between us four, which meant he'd keep his mouth shut now. Another second and Cassy nodded. But Liam looked a bit hesitant. "Liam?"
