Chapter 8

Denden's POV

Nasa airport na kami hinihintay ang dating ni Ly. Kasama ko si Ella at Kiwi nag cocoffee sa SB.

Denden: "Besh anong oras na? Matagal pa ba? Inaantok na ako, wala ng epekto tong kape." 11pm kasi ang dating ni Ly.

Kiwi: "Patience besh. Here, you can have my coffee." Inabot niya sa akin ang coffee niya kasi nakita niyang humikab na ako sa antok.

Ella: "Parang di ka natulog kaninang hapon sa antok mong yan. Nako Lazaro huwag ako. Malapit na oh." Di naman kasi talaga ako natulog kaninang hapon, excuse ko lang yun. Pero ang totoo may date ako.

Denden: "Eh sa inaantok na ako bakit ba?" nararamdaman kong anytime, babagsak na ang mga mata ko.

"Flight 9L 1038 from US has now safely landed."

Ella: "Oh ayan, kakaland lang nila Ly. Tara punta na tayo dun." Pumunta na kami patungong arrival area para hintayin si Ly.

Alyssa's POV

"Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and all carry-on luggages are stowed underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins. Thank you."

I fastened my seatbelt at tumingin ako sa labas ng bintana, unti-unti ko ng natatanaw ang Manila, how I missed Philippines.

Alyssa: "Baby look outside the window, see those lights over there? That's Manila; we're already in the Philippines." Tumingin si Cienne sa labas ng bintana while I fastened her seatbelt.

Cienne: "Yey we're in Phiwippines! I'm so excited to see Tita Ella, Tita Den and Tita Kiwi."

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have just been cleared to land at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Please make sure one last time your seat belt is securely fastened. The flight attendants are currently passing around the cabin to make a final compliance check and pick up any remaining cups and glasses. Thank you."

Alyssa: "Cienne baby settle down now." I closed our tray tables and settled down. Pinikit ko ang aking mata at huminga ng malalim, "I'm home."

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Local time is 11:00 PM and the temperature is 30'C. For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about. Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you and please use caution when opening the overhead bins, as heavy articles may have shifted around during the flight. On behalf of Cathay Pacific Airways and the entire crew, I'd like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you on board again in the near future. Have a nice night!"

Pagtingin ko sa bintana, di ko mapigilang maluha pagkakita ko sa NAIA. I'm finally home, after 4 long years makikita ko na ulit ang pamilya at mga kaibigan ko. Tumayo ako at kinuha ang hand carry luggages sa overhead bins.

Alyssa: "Let's go Cienne. Your titas are already waiting for us." Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya at bumaba na kami ng plane.

Pagpasok namin sa loob ng airport, konti na lang ang tao. Hinintay muna namin ang ibang mga gamit sa conveyor belt, pagkatapos, lumabas na kami ng arrival area at nakita ko sila Ella nakatayo kumakaway sa amin.

Kiwi: "Welcome home besh!" niyakap ko silang tatlo.

Alyssa: "Thank you besh. Na miss ko ang Pilipinas, sobra."
