It's been four days since the last time he saw you. He was beginning to think that something bad had even happened to you. He knew what he had to do in order to see you.

He would have to become human.

He swam as fast as his tail-fin would take him until he came to a halt at the black rock that looked like an the opening of a dragon's mouth. It looked even more scary with that glowing green light coming from inside of it.

"Are you sure there isn't another way Aaron?" His friend , Flower, asked him with a shaky voice.

He looked down at his childhood friend. He had known Flower since he was a merman still learning to swim. She had always been there for him in any given situation, but let's just say that whenever there was danger, she would quickly swim behind him for cover.

But Flower was the only one who understood his obsession with the human world and why it was so different from life there on the ocean floor, and that was one of the many reasons why she was his friend.

"If I will get to see (y/n) again, I'll do whatever it takes." Determination radiated his voice.

She took a deep breath and nodded her head, signaling that they should keep moving forward.

Once they got past the mouth of the cave, they began to move towards the inner core. They come to a stop when the person they had came to see was in sight.

Ursal the sea wizard was the only person who could turn any mermaid or creature into a human. And there he stood with his arms crossed over his chest and a wicked grin spreading across his face.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" His deep voice was enough to make anyone terrified.

Aaron took a deep breath and asked him the one thing he has been wanting to ask him for a long time, he just never had a good enough reason until now.

"I want you to turn me into a human." The young Mer-prince told him with as much confidence he could muster.

The warlock has never intentionally been asked to ever turn someone, or any creature for that matter, into a human, so the young prince's request was quite a shock.

"Do you realize the consequences for wanting to become human?" He asked him curiously.

"You'll take away my ability to talk right?" Aaron asked him cautiously.

The warlocks eyes went wide as he nodded once.

"Why do you want to became a human Aaron?" He asked him with narrowed eyes.

Aaron narrowed his own eyes at the villain.

"That's not any of your business." Aaron told him in an authoritative tone.

A mischievous smiled grew upon the octopus' face within an instant. It was almost as if he knew something that Aaron didn't.

"It's because of a human isn't it?" He asked.

Aaron's cheeks began to be tinted with red as images of you began to flash in his mind.

He hated feeling embarrassed, but the thoughts that he was having of you made him feel as light as sand. They thrilled him and gave him the hope that, just maybe, you were hoping to see him again too.

But he has been away from the sight of your gentle face for far too long, so long in fact, that even the images of you in his head weren't enough to fuel his longing that was the smoothness of your skin.

It frustrated him that he was feeling this way and had no way of quenching it.

"Possibly." He avoided any eye-contact with the smiling squid.
