Genie (Genie - Aladdin) Chapter 3

Wishes are given once ever millennia, each one is just as special as the next. They are ment to make the world a better place, not to destroy everything in ones path. It is hard to serve a master or mistress whose heart is changed by greed, but it is even harder to find a master or mistress whose heart won't be changed.

Once upon a time, a young woman fell in love with with her best friend. Their relationship was frowned upon and therefore the when the young woman's friend was sent to fight in a war, they perished, leaving the woman heartbroken. As a result of her friends death, the woman blamed the townspeople and set out on a journey in search of great power that would help her seek out her vengence.

Upon journeying on a trail in the mountains, the young woman came across a mysterious cave that seemed to radiate with power. The young woman enters the cave and is met by a sorcerer from which the great power was coming from.

The woman asks the wizard if he could help her with gaining great power. And the Wizard says ...

"Why yes dear child, however be cautious. If you use the power for the wrong reasons, you will become a slave to it and forced inside the nearest lamp forever until you are freed once again" The wizard says with seriousness as he picked up blue powder and threw it onto the woman.

Her skin turned blue and her hair turned black as night. Her clothes changed as well, along with her figure. She thanked the wizard but did not believe his warning as she goes to terrorize the villagers for sending her love to their doom.

After making qs much destruction as possible, the woman fell asleep in a nearby town and was indeed transported into the nearest lamp. She has had many masters and mistresses, and some had always agreed to set her free, but they never did.

So the woman who became a genie grew tiresome and guilty for not heeding the wizards words. Then one day, she met a young woman who wanted to impress a prince son of the sultan. They became friends and although she lost Genie's lamp to the cruel witch, Jezabel, Alana got back the lamp and wished Genie free and lived happily ever after with her prince.

However, that did not last long for Genie soon became plagued by darkness. So in her moment of freedom she went back to the wizard and asked what was wrong with her.

"Why dear child, you are cursed. Because you sought out revenge for the death of your loved one, only someone that you love and loves you in return can free you from the curse, only then can you truly be free" the wizard says before sending her back into the lamp.

For centuries, the lamp had never been found. That is until it was sent to your aunt's Halloween store and you woke her up again.

You of course, knew nothing of the curse nor why GeGe couldn't remember anything about her past Master or Mistresses. Perhaps I should clarify why that is.

For you see, when the wizard put GeGe back into the lamp, he cast a spell on her so that she would have no memory of everything she had done in the past. It was to protect her and give her a fresh start, but if she were to fall in love again and that person who loved her would set her free ... the spell would be broken and every bad thing that she had done would come flooding back into her memories.

That is why GeGe cannot remember anything, but for now you had chosen to give her your very first wish. It would be tough and it would be tragic because after you grant her the freedom she has always wanted ... she may either stay or leave.

That was up to her, sure you would be heartbroken, but at least she will be happy.

You were closing up the store once again and you were very nervous because you were afraid of what she might say and do. But you had to do it for her ... and why?

It was because you loved GeGe.

Because you loved her so much that you could no longer bear to see her in pain any longer than you had to. So you would do it for her.

You walked down the familiar dark hallway that you've walked down a million times before.

Midnight was at the vet, so his presence couldn't keep you company as you slowly opened the door and turned on the light. You had cleanee up a bit back here, there were no more boxes or cobwebs or broken shelves. Everything was in good shape and organized to perfection if you do say so yourself.

You had even placed GeGe's lamp on a silk blanket on a pillow in the middle of the table.

You smile and rub the lamp gently, causing the familiar blue smoke to pour out of it. And a few minutes later, GeGe was standing there in her human form, smiling at you.

"Hello, (y/n). Is it closing time already?" She asks smiling sweetly as she walks over to hug you gently, her curly black hair tickling your nose as you hug her back.

"It is, but we need to talk, GeGe" you tell her in a serious tone.

She slowly pulls away from you and looks up at you in confusion, "what do you mean we need to talk? Talk about what?" She asks curiously.

You sigh and lead her to the front of the store, taking her lamp with you whilst holding her hand, making her blush very bright red.

"I want to make my first wish, and whether you chose to stay with me or not, I would like you to know that I ...." you couldn't tell her what you needed to say because she was looking up at you with those big blue eyes of hers.

In their depths you could see love and happiness, but that may change once you wish her free. She may not accept your feelings or she might, however if she didn't you would support her.

So you took a deep breath and set the lamp down gently on the counter before picking her up and sitting her on the counter so the two of you were at eye level.

"GeGe, I know this may sound crazy and I know that you may not like the fact that I'm telling you this, but I love you and I want what is best for you. So my first wish is that I wish for your freedom." You tell her, your cheeks turning bright red.

She stares at you with wide blue eyes as a blush slowly enters her cheeks as well. Tears soon began to flow down her cheeks as she threw her arms around your neck and cried into your shoulder.

"I-I love y-you t-too!" She says through her sobs making you smile and hug her close.

So you finally admitted your feelings and had even granted her one wish. She was now free with the snap of her fingers as the shackles around her wrists lifted up and vanished. Now GeGe could actually live her life in peace.

But just as everything seemed to be okay, GeGe suddenly screamed out in pain as she pushes you away, grabbing at her head. Memories of her past and what she had done sudden came clowing back all at once. The curse was broken and she was free of that too.

But the pain became too much for her and she began to fall forward. You caught her, realizing that she passed out. You rushed her to the nearest hospital, and waited for what was to come.

A few weeks later she woke up, panting and covered in sweat. You had rushes over to her and hugged her tightly and she hugged you back, beginning to cry into your shoulder.

"Shh, it's alright, you're okay now~" you say trying to calm her down.

However, she wiped her tears and looked up at you with worry and fear on her face.

"I remember everything .... and you're not going to like it" she says whimpering

Little did you know that your perspective of her would soon begin to change the moment you heard the truth ...
