"Love is the one thing in life that can either make you feel like you're on cloud nine or it could brake you to the point to where you will never be fixed ever again." Your mom tells you one day when you asked her what it was like to be in love.

"Why do you say that mama?" You look up at her with your big innocent (e/c) eyes.

You were thirteen at the time, it was that year that you began to notice boys in a different perspective. She sighs and looks at you with a smile on her face.

"Because love is a complicated thing and when it hits you, it's hits so hard that all you can do is think about that other person, and no matter how many times you tell yourself that it doesn't mean anything, you'll only be lying to yourself." You watch her cheeks begin to turn red and you realized she was talking about your father.

"Is that what it was like when you met daddy?" She looks at you and give you a small nod.

"I was eighteen when I met your father. He was two years older than me and his friends would always pick on him when they found out we were dating, but one day he had had enough and told them that I was the only one that was meant for him and he would never leave me so if they didn't accept that then they should just shut up about it anyway because he thought it was making me upset. It was that day that I realized that I was in love with him, but I knew I was doomed from the start because he had already stolen my heart before we even started dating." It was in that moment that your father come into the room.

He walked up to your mother and placed a kiss on her forehead. Her cheeks turned lobster red and she whispered something to your father that you couldn't hear, but it must have been something amusing because he began to chuckle.

"Well Anna, (y/n) is not a baby anymore. You're going to have to except that fact. I mean just look at him/her, does he/she look like he/she wants to be treated like one?" Your father points to you.

It in that moment that your mother had realized that you indeed were no longer a child. But there would always be that small part inside of her that wanted to protect you as if you were that same little bundle of joy that they had brought home with them one day. She just needed to accept the fact that she couldn't protect you forever, because no matter what she did, no matter what boundaries she sets up, you'll grow up and became a parent of your own. When that time comes she'll be the most proudest parent in the entire world.

"You're right Charles. . ."

It was in that moment that you woke up crying, not because it was a nightmare, but because it was a memory that had finally resurfaced. You continued to cry knowing that your mother will never have her wish granted of watching you grow up and raise a family of your own. You and your father will never have another one of those little moments the two of you would share when he was reciting a life lesson and you would watch him in awe and wonder if you will be as wise as him someday. You'll never get to sing your little brother and sister to sleep because that was the only way the could go to sleep at night. You would never get to do any of these things ever again because your whole world was shattered the moment the truth about your birth was revealed to you.

The tears wouldn't stop and you didn't think they ever would. It was in that moment that Emilian had pushed back the curtain to the little area he had placed you in so that you could sleep, he took one look at your face and he was beside you in an instant.

"Hey, hey everything is okay." He didn't realize he had made the mistake of saying that until you began to cry even more.

"How can anything ever be okay again? My family was murdered right in front of me and I couldn't do anything to save them." You buried your face in your hands to hide your now grieving face.

"You don't believe any of this is your fault, do you?" He asked you in gentle tone.

That question only made you cry harder. Of course you couldn't tell him the truth, you had just met him, had just earned his trust. If you had told him the truth I've your heritage there was a good chance he would never want to be near you ever again.

"Why do you blame yourself?" He sounded much closer to you this time.

You looked up and saw that he was indeed closer to you, much, much closer. So close in fact that his glowing green eyes were now starring into your soul. You tried to back away from him, only you didn't realized that your legs were trapped by his, and he had pinned your arms to your side.

Your breath become hitched when he began to caress your neck with his lips. You tried to hold back a moan as he nipped at your sweet spot, he must have heard you squeal because he began to kiss your jawline which only made it that much harder not to moan. Within an instant, the sweet caresses stopped and he backed away from you slowly.

You whimpered in protest, earning a smile from the green-eyed gypsy. His smile was sexy and mischievous at the some time as he began to lift his shirt up from his tanned abdomen. His shirt was off his body and on the floor in an instant. His torso and abdomen was muscular and done right sexy as hell. You didn't realize you were blushing until he crawled back over to you and caressed your now burning cheeks.

"You're rosy cheeks make me want to EAT YOU UP." You whimpered when he began tho place feather-like kisses down your neck.

"If you'll let me, I can take your pain away even if it is just for a night." He whispered huskly in your now burning ear.

You couldn't say anything, you were too shocked by the outcome to say anything. You had never done anything like this before. You admit you were scared, but that wasn't what was bothering you. What will happen after this one night and he tells you that he loves you, but the n he finds out the truth about who you really were and didn't want to have anything to do with you?

You admit you would be heartbroken, probably even more than you were at that moment, but that would be the one thing that would ultimately kill you. Tears began to flow down your cheeks, that caused him to stop what he was about to do.

He kissed away your tears making sure that there wasn't any left. He then lifted up your chin so that you were looking up at him, and then he gentle pressed his lips against yours.

Sparks began to fly within the few moments of contact. You could hear a deep rumbling inside of his chest, a sure sign that he felt the spark too. He began to apply more pressure to your lips, your mouth opens up to let him in, his tongue then darts in to start a war with yours.

Even though the hot and lustful caresses made you feel good, the tears that he wiped away earlier kept leaking from your eyes even though they were closed. He breaks away from you so that the both of you can breath.

His cheeks were now red also and he had a captivating smile on his face. He wipes away the tears from your eyes and kisses you one last time before he lays down on your pillows. He beckons you to come join him with his outstretched hand.

You couldn't help but laugh at how childish he looked in that very moment, but you took his hand into yours anyway and let him pull you towards him until you were now facing the smoothness of his tanned chest.

You could feel how fast his heart was beating just under your fingertips. Funny, that's exactly what your heart was doing and you were pretty sure he could feel your's as well.

You look up towards his face to see him starring at you with red dusted cheeks. It took you a minute to process that he was actually blushing. Thus you began to blush as well.

"S-stop looking a-at me l-like that." You tried to hide your face in his chest.

You could feel his chest rumbling as he began to chuckle.

"I can't help it, you're just so cute." He says as he buries his face in your hair.

You began to blush even more as he wrapped his body around yours and began to fall asleep. You couldn't help but smile at how vulnerable and innocent he looked while he was asleep.

Snuggling into his chest and wrapping your arms around his back, you began to drift off to sleep. And as your mind began to slowly make it's way to dream land, you thought you had heard him say 'I love you'.

Maybe it was just your black of sleep . . . Or maybe it was the start of love story that will be told for centuries.

Guess you'll have to wait and see. . .
