Its has been three weeks since Emilian had taken you in. Three weeks since the diabolic brother of the Archedeacon had ruined your life forever. But you have tried to move on these last three weeks and with Emilian's help, you adapted to the life of a gypsy and learn about their culture and their beliefs.

The two of you would perform during the day, him with his Tambourine and you with your Violin. The crowds would be captivated by the music that the two of you made. Whether it was because of talent or even because they enjoyed the sounds, everyone could tell that the real reason that you sounded so well with him was because of the undeniable chemistry seen between the two of you.

And of course, you didn't deny it, you embraced it little by little. From the countless places that he showed you in Paris that you couldn't believe existed to the heated makeout sessions that filled your body with warmth and passion.

However, they always ended before things could get really interesting because not only were you still insecure about showing him your body, but you also didn't want things to get too serious if he ever found out who you really are. The thought of him finding out the truth is what now invades your nightmares. It's what makes you wake up in a cold sweat at night and leaves you wide awake until dawn approaches.

Emilian was always asleep when you woke up, so you would deal with the nightmares on your own. The constant pacing, however, would wake the other gypsies and so you would go outside and stare up at the sky until the sun would rise sneaking back in so Emilian wouldn't know that you had moved.

The guilt of the secret was killing you inside, but if you tell the secret, Emilian would never look at you the same way ever again. However, one fine summer day, he began to notice the bags under your eyes.

"(Y/N), are you alright? There are circles under your eyes, that is from fatigue. You would tell me if you were having nightmares again wouldn't you?" He asks you with a worry in his eyes.

You sigh and put down the loaf of bread you were cutting for that morning's breakfast along with the knife. You thought you could hide it with the makeup that the girl gypsies sometimes wore, but he probably saw right through it with the poor job you did.

"I'm fine, there are no more nightmares. I just wake up in the middle of the night with trouble of going back to sleep." You admit to him as you began to wash apples with the bucket of water you fetched from the nearby well.

He walks up to you and places his hands on yours to make you stop what you were doing and look at him. When you wouldn't meet his eyes, he lifts your head by your chin and stares deeply into your eyes. His beautiful green eyes show worry and guilt.

"Do you want to talk about it? Is something on your mind that makes you restless enough to not let you go back to sleep?" He asks, hitting the mark straight on.

Your eyes grow wide, your attention on him causing you to drop the bucket of water. It splashes to the ground, sloshing water onto both of your clothes.

"Crap! I'm so sorry!" You shout as you quickly bend down to pick up the bucket at the same moment that he did. Your foreheads knock into each other, causing the both of you to fall back onto your butts in the large puddle of water the flows over the gravel road.

Emilian rubs his forehead and smiles at you, holding back his snickers. You couldn't help but let out a string of snickers yourself before the two of you were laughing together at just how clumsy the two of you were. The others around laughed with you as well, a few came to help the two of you up.

"I guess we better go put some dry clothes on before these stick to our bodies." He says grabbing your hand as he begins to quickly run towards the tent that was the gypy's main base and where they lived.
