Titans Gone Vampire (Seraph of the End/ Attack on Titan Crossover)

   Ferid watched with an amused smile as Mikaela and the rest of the humans seemingly prepared to enter the Giant-infested district.  The silver-haired vampire glanced back over his shoulder at Crowley, who also watched in amusement and a hint of curiosity as the group separated.

   "So what shall we do, hmm Crowley?"  Said male looked at Ferid, all seriousness gone from his eyes.

   "I believe now is the time we wait, Ferid.  Let's see what the livestock are planning."  The former vampire smirked and glanced back at the pathetic humans preparing to launch an attack.

   "Oh, I do hope they put on a show~"

   With Mikaela and Yuichiro– Entering Trost District

   "Damnit– we had to deal with the filthy blood suckers back home, and now we have to deal with Giants who eat humans?"  Yu glared at Kimizuki, warning him to keep silent around Mika.

   "I wonder how the Giants were ever created...  I mean, it's not just like two Giants can have a baby who suddenly likes to run around nude eating humans–"

   "Shinoa!  Be serious here!  These things could be just as dangerous as the vampires."  Yu scoffed at Mitsuba's words and replied,

   "I doubt it."  Yoichi shook his head and glanced over his shoulder at the soldiers keeping their distance.

   "But these people seem to have gone through a lot, huh?  They have that look in their eyes..."

"Indeed," Mikaela cut in, "but they've never faced vampires before either."

The group reached the edge of the wall. Yuichiro glanced down at the district overrun with Giants, a familiar feeling boiling in the pit of his stomach as one of the straps belonging to the gear cut into his skin.

"Mika, why are you the only one that doesn't have to wear this uncomfortable gear?" Yu whined and turned towards his brother, trying to adjust the straps that constricted his torso. Mika chuckled at the teen's actions.

"Yuu-chan, we both know I am the only one who has the abilities to survive without the aid of the gear that is used by these humans." Yuichiro still struggled a bit, before Guren appeared by his side.

"Stop being so whiny. Everyone, get ready to move out!"  The teen glared at his superior.

   "I wasn't being whiny–"  He received a look from Shinya that said "Don't push it," before grumbling and preparing to jump off the wall.

   "Everyone move out– and stay alive!"

   Mikaela though it was a bit unorthodox how Guren showed affection for the people he cared about.  He didn't mind, as long as Yuu-chan was safe, but his thoughts wandered as he plummeted the length of the 50 meter drop.  He had one main concern that always nagged his mind:

   Where were Ferid and Crowley?  Surely they wouldn't stay in the shadows for this long– they had to be planning something.

   Mikaela lightly shook his head as he landed on the ground with a loud thump, remaining completely unscathed.  For this mission, the Shinoa squad would stay together to kill any Titans they came across– although Mikaela knew he could manage on his own.

   For every Titan they killed though, another two seemingly showed up.  The creatures continuously came pouring through the the gate, leaving the humans with no way to halt them in their tracks.  As he sliced the nape of another Giant, Mika spotted a red flare shoot up in the distance, and wondered what it meant.  Shaking his head, he quickly turned to watched the others' progress.

   "Kimizuki– distract it!  Yuu-san and Mitsuba– go in for the kill!"  Shinoa aided Kimizuki with the distraction as Mitsuba and Yuichiro circled around to the back of the beast, working together to slice its nape.  Tilting his head, Mika watched the surrounding area for any other Titans, and finished them off if they came too close as the others worked together to kill any Giants as well.

   "RRROOOOAAAAARRRR!"  After killing the Titan, a loud (and rather angry) cry rang through the air.  The Shinoa squad froze, as did the Titans surrounding them.  Mikaela narrowed his eyes as the wind shifted direction, bringing to him the scent of the Titan.  His eyes widened as he glanced over at Yu.

   "Yuu-chan!  That's Eren– the boy from earlier!"  The blackette's eyes glittered with a ferocity Mika hadn't seen since the last battle against Krul.

   "We need to protect him!"  Shinoa's voice pierced the air as she readied her gear to take off.  "He has the boulder to plug the gate– and it looks like the other Titans are drawn to him!  Kill any you see on sight!"  With those words, both Shinoa and Mitsuba flew off, leaving Yuichiro, Kimizuki, and Yoichi behind to exchange slightly disbelieving looks before they followed.

   Eren could feel the power coursing through him– burning itself into his veins as he walked as steadily as he could towards the gaping hole in the wall.  The boulder was a lot heavier than Eren had predicted; it felt as if he was going to be smashed underneath the mass of rock any second as he trudged onward.

   'It feels like I'm being crushed...'  Looking down, Eren spotted Mikasa and Armin on the ground in front of him.  For a split moment, he let panic overtake him as a Titan lunged at them from behind.

   'What are they doing down there?!  Don't they know they could get killed–?!'  Before Eren could drop the boulder and rush to help however, a flash of blond streaked towards the Titan, leaving a gaping wound in the creature's nape.  The brunette couldn't help but let a breath of relief slip past his lips as he spotted Mikaela on the roof of a building near the steaming corpse.

   Eren's strides became a little longer as he inched forward with newfound energy.  His rage for the Titans around him grew tenfold, and he knew he would be able to succeed with the mission.  As he reached the gate, Armin's voice faintly echoed in his ears.

   "Go, Eren!"  Pouring all the anger and hatred he felt into his voice, the teen gave one last, mighty roar before using the last of his strength to plug the whole in the wall.

   As the massive chunk of rock slid into the opening with no space to spare, Eren collapsed, heat making his vision blur as he tried to remove himself from the nape of his Titan.  Only halfway succeeding, Eren's lids began to slip shut as he felt the urge to close his eyes become harder to resist.  Armin began to pull at him, cutting him loose, but Eren was only dimly aware of the efforts of his friend.

The last thing he saw were Mikaela and Corporal Levi working together to protect him from the approaching Titans as he lost consciousness.
