With Yuichiro
His first attempt had gone badly.
Yu didn't really understand how to be subtle– and blurting out the question one afternoon while sitting in the mess hall with Eren, Mikasa, and Armin was probably one of his more... insensitive choices.
Luckily, a worst-case scenario was avoided much to Yu's gratitude, and he decided to try and take a more gentle approach. After all, he just wanted to get back to Nagoya and continue fighting the vampires.
He noticed how Eren went to the roof nearly every day– a habit, should he call it. The blackette made sure to keep in mind the time that the brunette disappeared, and decided to relax at his resting place before Eren got there.
That is what brought us up to the present.
Yu found it... peaceful. The wind was calm today, and it slightly blew his hair around his face. He found the sensation to be relaxing, and before he knew it he was laying on his back, staring up at the clear, blue sky. Not long after he had settled in, a familiar face popped into his vision.
"Hey, Yuichiro, what are you doing up here?" Said blackette sat up and stretched before replying,
"Eh, thought it would be nice to find a quiet place to relax for a bit. These last few days have been hectic, huh?" Eren nodded, and sat down besides the boy, glancing upwards,
"They sure have. I wonder if things will ever settle down." The next few minutes were spent in silence as Yuichiro contemplated how to start the conversation.
"I've also been thinking a lot about the past." The words slipped past his lips before he had a chance to stop them. Cheeks heating up in embarrassment, Yu turned his head away from Eren slightly. The boy with teal eyes shifted uncomfortably, slightly caught off-guard by the sudden outburst.
"... I mean–" Yu tried go explain, "the Giants here– they seem to terrify anyone they cross paths with. And they kill a lot, too. My family... they were all killed when I was little. Mika's all I have left." Eren glanced at the other teen in sympathy.
"I lost my parents when I was little... The Titans attacked the gate in Shiganshina, and my house was crushed in a boulder that flew from the gate." Yu made a mental note to file the information away for later. "That was the day I vowed to kill the Titans... I decided that I'll destroy them all!" He clenched his fists in anger, and Yu nodded before standing and stretching his arms above his head.
"Thanks for sharing with me, Eren. I've got to go and find Mika– but I'll see you later!" The brunette nodded, a little startled by the sudden exit on Yu's part, and layed down as the other teen left the rooftop, intent on finding his brother before he forgot how to even pronounce the town's name.

Mikaela sighed as Guren gathered everyone once again.
"Alright, Yu– do you have the information?" The boy nodded.
"The name of the district is Shiganshina, Guren. His home was crushed by a boulder, which I think would still be near the wreckage." Shinya nodded.
"Good work, Yuichiro." He turned to Mikaela. "Now you're up. Wait until Eren is asleep– then knock him out and swipe the key. Be careful, and don't make yourself known. We don't want them raising the alarm before we've even left."
"I will be cautious." Mika's response seemed to satisfy Guren and Shinya, and Ferid smiled in amusement.
"Wow Mika, I never thought you would be doing something as extreme as this~" The blond glared at the older vampire in disdain.
"Now," Guren continued, shooting a warning glare at the two before turning to the rest of he group, "Yoichi, I want you and Kimizuki to be ready in the stables with a horse for each of us– we need to be able to get to the town quickly, and we can't do that on foot. Shinoa and Mitsuba will ask around town for directions to Shiganshina, without making it seem like they're up to anything suspicious. Be ready to leave tonight." The two girls nodded, and dismissed themselves to head out of the base.
"Oh? And what guarantee do you have that this plan will be successful? You've seen the short man that dwells here– he was strong enough to fend me off. What do you do if he catches us, hmm~?" Guren met his eyes evenly.
"If it comes to that, we will have to work together to keep him silent– let's hope it doesn't result in a battle."
Mikaela felt uneasy about the older's plan, but held his protests nonetheless. There were so many things that could go wrong... so many possibilities.
'But if it makes Yuu-chan happy... then I'll do it.'
