Miyoung grabbed her coat as she made a quick run for the door, still clad in her Pj's. Swinging open the front door, she ran out only to collide head on with an equally rushed Jaebum.

He caught her squarely in his arms as the impact made him take a few steps back in a stumble.

"Woah woah, slow down sweetie, what's wrong?" he held her tightly in an embrace while he felt her arms clutching on to his back.

She mumbled into his chest inaudibly.

"Say it again?" he bent his head lower,  giving her his open ear.

She looked up, and saw his face up close for the first time in a week. He'd lost some weight around his jawline and it was sharp like the edges of a hard cover book.

"I thought, you didn't want me anymore... " she mumbled, this time audible enough.

JB turned his head in surprise," why would you say that?! "

Then, realising he was the one who didn't contact her after having to fly off at no notice, guilt came over him as he saw her worried face.

" I'm sorry, it was my fault. There's just no excuse. " Gentlemanly as he was, he immediately got down on one knee,  holding on to both her hands.

" Jaebum-ah, what are you doing! " she asked, taken aback by his actions.

" Apologising for my wrongs. " he replied as a matter of fact, as if that's what he would always do.

She pulled him to his feet but he refused to budge."No, not until you are convinced that I won't let this happen a second time."

Agreeing profusely and almost begging him to get off the grass, she surrendered entirely to his crazy yet sincere ways.

He smiled, pulling at the corner of her sleeve.

" I really missed you. " he said, looking past her, trying to preserve his last bit of pride while confessing.

" Well, I thought u forgot about me. " she replied, a little pout forming on her lips. She recalled how she hardly fell asleep that night, holding on to the phone he gave her, waiting in vain for him to call the next morning. It was a painful wait that made her confused from his complete absence.

He ran his fingers through his hair with a sigh. It was a horrible thing he did and there was no excuse for it.

" I should have called when I could. " referring to the breaks he had at midnight just before crashing into the covers, but he felt too sorry to. He knew she would have found out of his overseas schedules from Jr.

"Yeah... You should have..." she replied, sighing together with him. Had it not been for her brother, Jr, she wouldn't have known that he nearly got mobbed at the airport on arrival, and had his phone stolen by crazy fans backstage. She knew it had been a rough week and he probably tried to get in touch but things weren't easy.

"Come on, let's get you something to eat. " she turned, beckoning him towards the house.

Momentarily, they both forgot about Jr, who had just got up and was just about to fix some breakfast for him and Miyoung.

With his hand in hers, he followed her with a tight grasp as if any slight faint breeze would separate them. Shyly, she walked ahead, hiding the bliss of feeling his warm hand holding hers.

She swung open the door, and there stood a sleepy Jr, with a freshly out of bed look.

"Omo!" a startled Jr stared at the door, surprised that someone would open it at 8am when he was sure Miyoung was asleep.
