I hope nothing sounds confusing, and I hope you guys are loving the story so far!! I decided to add Krypto, because who doesn't love him? If I ever get a dog I'm naming him Krypto, that's for sure..

   Y/N'S POV

I was woken up the next morning by my dog, Krypto. He was not actually my dog, but I had been taking care of him for months now. I found Krypto wondering around near the Daily Planet. I always wondered what he was doing there, but I was sure his real owner was out there still looking for him.
The thing was: Krypto's owner could be anyone, but it could not just be a regular, old citizen. Krypto was different than other dogs, which made him unique to me. Even though I had no idea when Krypto's owner would show, I would watch over him as best as I could.

Anyway, I gently pushed him to the side, because he was scratching me. I sat up and Krypto leaned down, resting his head on my lap.

I smiled and kissed his head saying,"I love you, too, Krypto. What's your owner like? Is he cute? Is he single?"

Krypto barked at me and I took that as "yes," but I was confused as to which one he was referring to. I shook it off and took a shower, before I got dressed and headed down the stairs, after hearing the doorbell. I opened the door to see Lois was here. I immediately slammed the door in her face.

Krypto gave me a look, and I sighed saying,"What? I had to do that, okay? I have been waiting all week, and she is just trying to get in my head.."

Krypto barked up at me, and I sighed again saying,"All right, all right, I will open the door."

I took a deep and relaxing breath, before I opened the door again. Lois stood there with the dirtiest look on her face, but I truly did not care right now.

I cleared my throat and cut to the chase saying,"What are you doing at my house?"

Lois rolled her eyes and scoffed saying,"I can come here if I want to. You do not own me, do you? While I was talking to Superman, because he came to see me.."

Lois stopped and let that soak in, almost as if she knew what she was doing.

I said through gritted teeth,"If you don't get off my lawn.."

Lois chuckled and got in my face saying,"I know that you are new to this whole journalist thing, but maybe you should just quit. I know who really has your attention, but he will never return it. We have known each other for years, if I ever needed someone Superman would be there. Did I hit a nerve?"

Tears formed in my eyes and I can not believe I let Lois just get to me like that.

  I weakly said,"Just go, Lois..."

Lois smirked and Krypto tried to go after her, but I held him back by his collar.

I sniffed and shook my head saying,"She is not worth it. I will..go get..your..food."

Krypto gave me sad eyes and ran into the kitchen. He sat at his spot, before he patiently waited on me to fix his bowl.
I put it down on the ground slowly, before Krypto quickly started eating and drinking from his water bowl. I smiled weakly, but my smile immediately dropped.
I walked over to the couch and realized I was supposed to be meeting Superman today. With that in mind, I slowly made my way to the terrace. I let my tears fall and sobbed loudly leaning on the terrace railing. Krypto pulled me back by my gown, and I sat down beside his sitting form.

He buried his face in my shoulder, while I cried hugging his neck. Poor Krypto..This poor dog had to deal with my crying and whining all day...

Krypto just let me, while I sobbed saying,"Why does it hurt so much? Why did I listen to her?"

Someone now stood behind Krypto and I. I turned to see Superman giving me worried eyes. He tried to come towards me, but I took some steps back.

Superman softly said,"Everything is gonna be all right, Y/N. I am not here to hurt you, okay? I just wanted to check on you and see how you are doing. What's the matter?"

I shook my head and sobbed saying,"Go away..I do not want to..to talk about it..Maybe your girlfriend can tell you.."

It got quiet for a minute, which caused me to cry even harder. I thought Superman did not want to be bothered with me, but the truth was I was afraid of losing him. I felt gently hands pull me up, before I slowly opened my eyes to be met with those soft and reassuring blue ones.

Superman wiped my tears and put his forhead on mine saying,"I do not have a girlfriend, Y/N. Darling, Lois and I are not together. I may be around Ms. Lane a lot, but I forget about her when you are around. Cheer up, okay?"

I blushed at Superman's worse, which caused him to laugh and smile down at me. Once Superman let go of me, I immediately frowned. He did not seem to notice, and I sighed in defeat. I followed Superman's eyes to realize he was staring at Krypto.
