   Y/N'S POV

Right now, I was just lying down in bed and trying to get myself up. I felt Clark lift me up, which made me pout and try to push his hands away.

Clark chuckled and kissed my forehead saying,"I'm really sorry, darling, but you have to get up. We have a meeting, remember? Perry won't be so happy, if we don't show up. Y/N, C'mon.."

Clark ended up putting me over his shoulder, before he set me down in the bathroom. Closing the door. I just smiled and began getting ready to go to work, which I hadn't done in a long time.

I was surprised Perry hadn't gotten frustrated with me yet, but I was sure he found out about Clark and all, after those events of Bruce and him not getting along.
I was glad they're okay now, because I would've made them be okay with each other if they decided to stay distant from each other. I made my way out of the room and grabbed my keys, before I walked on the front porch. Dad was standing there.

I asked him, deeply surprised,"Dad, what are you doing here? Everything okay?"

Dad didn't say a word, before he just walked over to me and hugged me. This only made me concerned; however, I just hugged back and Dad didn't seem to want to let go.

I frowned and pulled away from the hug and said,"Please tell me what's wrong.."

Dad finally lifted his head and I noticed he had been crying. This really put me in a different mindset right now, because I had never seen my Dad cry, not once...I told Clark to go on ahead and tell Perry that I would come in later. Clark gave me a quick kiss and kissed my forehead, before he left to head off to work. I quickly made my way back to Dad. His tears had only became worse.
I wiped his tears and grabbed Dad's hand, before I led him inside. I noticed I still had an hour till work actually started, so I should be fine trying to be here for Dad.

Dad wrapped an arm around me and kissed my forehead saying,"Thanks, sweetheart, but shouldn't you be getting to work? I'll leave.."

I immediately got Dad to sit back down and seriously said,"You're more important, Dad, sit.."

Dad nodded and sat back down, while I held on to his arm so he wouldn't try to leave again.

I looked him in the eyes and smiled saying,"I see where my determination and stubbornness comes from now."

Dad smiled down at me, before Dad leaned on me and said,"I took the advice you gave me the last time we spoke and I went to see your Mom, but I found her with him..."

I rolled my eyes and mumbled,"I thought I told her to stay away from that jerk."

Dad heard what I said and I got up, which caused him to do the same.

I grabbed my car keys for the second time and Dad pulled me back saying,"Whoa, honey, it's not that serious. Your mom clearly doesn't feel the same anymore and feels her life will be better with someone else.."

I looked Dad in the eyes and said, fully determined,"Well, mine won't. I'm not losing you again, Dad, I can't..."

I said the last part so lowly that I was sure even a recorder wouldn't have understood what I had just said. Dad just followed me and I held back my sudden depression. I started my car's engine, before I drove to my Mom's house.
When we got there, I saw mom's boyfriend's car was here. I knew this was going to be a fight to get him to leave. I walked in and scrunched my nose at the scent, before I felt hands on me.

I immediately knew it was John, so I pushed him away and rolled my eyes saying,"I know she's here with you, John, so where's my mother?"

John sighed and said,"You need to show some respect, young lady, and it's Dad to you.."

I scoffed and sarcastically laughed saying,"Sure I am. Are you really my Dad, if you're only here to be with a woman who can't even remember what she had for breakfast yesterday? I'm sure that Mom and you will do just fine, because she likes men that give her what she wants. I'll let you in on a little secret: My real father is a tough man and he's who I respect and will love for the rest of my life. It may make you sleep better to know that it's rude to try to take advantage of your girlfriend's daughter. Don't worry, I'm sure some woman will appreciate that.."

I knew Dad heard the whole thing, but I made him stay back.

John ended up pushing me against the wall and threatened me saying,"You will give me what I want, even if your mother is what I really am after."

I began to panic, because John did scare me when no one else was around. I thanked God when Dad pinned John to the wall. He instantly made sure I was okay. I thanked him, before Mom came down the stairs and kissed John.

John smirked and kissed back, before I rolled my eyes and Dad looked away.

I pushed John out of the door and said,"I think it's time for you to go.."

John went to hit me, but Dad hit him first and knocked him down to the ground.

He sent me a wink, which made me smile and I turned back to Mom saying,"It's time we talked, as a whole family. You've been running away from this for too long. No one leaves.."
