   Y/N'S POV

As I laid on the sofa watching Monsters Inc., I felt horrible. Dozens of tissues and rags surrounded my sofa space, while I desperately tried to breathe and stay awake. I should try to sleep this strong cold off, but I had not heard from Clark for a while now.
I had begun to worry about him, but I was sure he was fine, right? I mean, what could possibly happen? Maybe I was just paranoid or something..I shook off my thoughts and snuggled back into the sheets. It was on the part where Roz was scolding Mike about not turning in his paperwork.

I loved Mike, because I used to be like that. I never turned in my paperwork, because I was too busy thinking about Clark and Superman. I was not aware that Clark was Superman at first, until Lois drew closer to him.
I immediately felt my heart break, and deep down, I knew Clark knew I had realized his secret. Speaking of Clark, I could really use his boy scout personality right now. I felt something hitting my leg and looked down to see Krypto. Krypto barked up at me and jumped on the sofa, before he got under me. I smiled and wrapped an arm around him, before I paid attention to the movie.

I heard a knock on the door and groaned getting up. I slowly walked over to the door and opened it to see my mom. I instantly looked at her in confusion, before my mom squealed and hugged me tight.

( I love Arrow, so just imagine it's the exact situation when Felicity's mom came to visit her:)

I stood there stunned and said,"Mom, what are you doing here?"

Mom pulled away and said confused,"Didn't you get my message? Well, I wanted to come and visit.."

I took Mom's phone, before I checked her messages.

I found the one she was trying to send to me, and I sighed saying,"To send a message, mom, you actually have to press send.."

Mom nodded and shrugged saying,"Oh, well then here. See, I sent it...What are we doing first? I am sure you know some good places around here."

No, she came at the worst time ever. Okay, how was I gonna explain all this?

I guided Mom over to the couch and said,"You sit here, and I will get you something to drink, okay? Look, our favorite movie is on.."

Mom looked at the screen and smiled at seeing Monsters Inc. I could not help but smile, too, and made my way into the kitchen. I fixed her some coffee, while I went with hot chocolate. Maybe I would just explain nice and slow, yeah?

I took a deep breath, before I walked back into the living room to see Clark making his way back inside the house. Where had he been?

My question was answered when he said,"Sorry, darling, but mom needed me to pick out some flowers for her new garden. Umm, who is this?"

Mom walked up to Clark and looked at him almost..flirtatious.

I instantly stood in front of Clark and held up my hands saying,"Whoa!! Whoa!! Mom, this is Clark..You remember him, don't you? The one I told you about that is my BOYFRIEND.."

I emphasized on that part, so Mom clearly got the idea.

She nodded and shook Clark's hand saying,"I am Ms. L/N. Sorry, force of habit...It is nice to meet you, Clark. I have heard much about you."

Clark shook Mom's hand and smiled at her saying,"I hope all good things, I know. Sweetheart, would you come with me to the kitchen for a minute?"

Clark grabbed my hand, before he guided me inside the kitchen.

He looked down at me, and I sighed saying,"I am sorry about her, Kent. She just..has been through a lot. I understand if-"

Clark cut me off by kissing me passionately. I kissed back and rested my hand on his shoulder, before Clark pulled me closer.

He slowly pulled away and chuckled saying,"No, sweetheart, I understand. Every mom is different, she is just distracted. I love you, Y/N."

I smiled up at Clark and fixed his glasses saying,"I love you, too, Clark. Why don't we have a party? We could invite all our friends and family over. What do you say, Kansas?"

Clark nodded and kissed my hand saying,"I would love that, Y/N. Why don't you tell your mom? I am sure she would love to hear that.."

I giggled and hit Clark's shoulder, before I walked back in only to see Mom already cleaning up the house. I smiled and helped Mom out, before we got done in no time. Once we were finished, Clark and I called in some favors for the decorations and food plans.
We all crashed on the couch, before I turned Monsters Inc. back on. It happened to be on the part where Boo had to leave, and I so was not ready for it yet. Clark and Mom comforted me for the rest of the movie.
