Chapter 63

     Y/N'S POV

    "Clark, are you sure about this, baby?"

   Clark nodded and said,"We need to figure out what your powers are. You could possibly have the same powers as me, but I am not sure what that man did to you. Maybe we have to wait for them to surface on their own. Bruce, what do you think?"

   Clark and I turned to Bruce, who was holding Jade in his arms. We waited for Bruce to speak, but he was too busy playing with Jade.

   I smiled and laughed a little, before I cleared my throat and said,"Batman, Clark has a question for you.."

   Bruce looked up from Jade and then over at me saying,"I say Clark throws everything he can at you, and then we see what your abilities are."

   I looked at Clark and shrugged saying,"That is not a completely bad idea, even though I want to be alive after this, Bruce Wayne."

   Bruce chuckled and said,"I highly doubt Clark would ever throw anything at you that you could not handle. You are still his wife, Y/N. Then again, he is known for slacking off here and there."

   Bruce smirked in Clark's direction and Clark took a deep breath, before I realized what Bruce was doing. I immediately turned to Bruce and motioned for him to stop talking, but Bruce ignored me.

   Before I knew it, Clark came towards me, before I blocked his punch and Bruce said,"Impressive. Did not expect that..Focus, Y/N. Think faster than Clark."

   Before Clark threw another punch towards me, I stopped his hand and Clark put my arms behind my back.

   I groaned and Clark apologized, while Bruce rolled his eyes saying,"Really, Kent? We are training her, not buttering her up. What are you going to do now, Y/N?"

   I took a deep breath and thought about what I could do next, before I jumped over Clark and held his arms behind his back.
   Clark tried to break my hold, but I tightened my grip as much as I could. I let go of Clark's arms, before he turned around and ran towards me. I smirked and saw my opening, before I slid under Clark's legs.

   I hit him from behind, before Clark groaned and Bruce cheered me on holding Jade.
Unfortunately, I turned my head for too long and Clark lunged at me and pinned me down.

   I struggled under his grip, while Clark asked me,"Do you feel different at all?"

   I shook my head and said,"I felt a little riled up, but only because Bruce was hyping me up."

   Clark chuckled, before he leaned in and I laughed saying,"Clark, you are supposed to be helping me with combat and figuring out what my powers are, not trying to show affection towards me, Kansas."

   Clark rolled his eyes and kissed me, before I kissed back and for some odd reason I felt almost as if I had left the ground.
   I looked down and jumped at seeing I was not on the ground anymore. Clark was not either, but he looked down and noticed we were not on the ground anymore.

   I asked Clark,"Is that you?"

   Clark shook his head and smiled saying,"No. That, sweetheart, is all you."

   I squealed and kissed Clark again, before he chuckled and I realized I did not know how to get back down.

   I panicked and Clark wrapped his arms around me, before he said,"Relax, I got you. I promise."

   I smiled at Clark and asked him,"What if I have x-ray vision, too? What if I have..Baby, what else do you have?"

   Clark chuckled and put us back on the ground, before he said,"Lets start slow, okay? You may be just like me, but I do not want to rush your powers out in the open. I will gladly support you and help you with your flying, too."

   Clark sent me a wink and pulled me in for a kiss, before I heard Bruce say,"Looks like there is more affection going on than training. I knew I should have called Kara or Conner."

   I blushed, while I noticed Bruce was covering Jade's eyes.

   Jade moved his hand, before I ran over to Bruce and said,"Bruce, did you see what happened? I have flight like Clark!!"

   Bruce nodded and smirked saying,"I never left the room, though it seems as if you forgot that. Clark, you are really bad at your job. You got some work done, so I will congratulate you for that. Jade seemed to enjoy spending time with me, so I was not completely disappointed."

   I rolled my eyes at Bruce and Jade pulled on my shirt, before I took her from Bruce saying,"Clark, Jade, and I are going to go on home. Goodbye, Bruce.."

   Bruce chuckled and bowed to me, before he shook Clark's hand and looked at Jade.
Jade reached for Bruce and Bruce took her from me, before he gave her a kiss and handed Jade back to me.

   I thanked Bruce, before Clark and I took Jade back home and got some rest. Rest assured, I was excited to see what other abilities I had..Flight was the only one I knew about, but how cool would it be to have x-ray vision, too?
