Through out the whole class period Eli talked and talked to me, but never got caught, not even once. But when I just opened my mouth to say one word to him, the teacher gave me the stink eye. Every time Eli would laugh this sexy chuckle that would make me want to get caught again to hear the seductive purr just one more time.

It turned out I had my last few classes with him too, just great! More of his verbose and then when the teacher looked he played it cool.

After school Austin drove us all home. He gloated about how amazing it day had been while my little sister sat silently in the back, texting on her damn phone. It was like her phone was her best friend and she would probably have an emotional breakdown if they ever got separated.

"How was your first day?" My mom asked looking up from her magazine as we walked into the house.

"Good."

"Fine."

My brother and sister answered in unison.

I looked at my mom and contemplated for a few seconds deciding I'll try to make my mom's day and actually give her more than a one word feedback.  "To be truthful my day actually. . .good. I made a couple new friends, class is pretty easy, and I'm trying out for cheerleading", I listed off, smilingly slightly. I had thought I would get a smile, maybe a little bit of elated shock, but her reply thoroughly disappointed me.

She didn't even look up. "Great sweetie". I rolled my eyes and walked upstairs, so much for some motherly feedback.

It was a bright Saturday morning, when I walked into the park with Sarah, Alice, and Trish. The park was large and bursting with life. In one area was a playground with kids playing and their parents talking to other parents. In another section was a dog park with the owners playing fetch and teaching their obedient dogs tricks. In the middle of the park was a big pond with people paddle boating and ducks swimming freely. Out to the side of the park was trees that connected with the forest where people could hike.

Where we were going to practice was right by the sidewalk under a few trees where joggers occasionally passed us. "Why can't we go practice in the open field?" I asked stretching my back seeing the other girls do it.

"Because cute boys wont notice us as much as they will if we are right here." Trish said stretching too. Annoyed, by her boy-craziness I rolled my eyes. I really didn't care right now about cute boys; I had a boyfriend back home who was all I need right now.

Anyways we practiced for about thirty minutes and I was genuinely surprised to find out that I was good at cheerleading. Since I did a few wild things back in North Dakota I wasn't scared at all to try doing back flips or any of the other neck breaking flips. And I was already pretty flexible, so everything was a breeze. After practicing for a little bit, them teaching me how to easily get on the team, we each got a water bottle and went to go sit down somewhere more calmer. Before, she could find herself a spot I snagged Trish to talk to her about Eli . . .you know for future references of course.

I pulled her along to an empty patch of grass while Alice and Sarah paid us no mind. Together we sat down and for a few moments I contemplated on what to say.

Shyly I grinned. "Soo . . ."

Trish blinked, before rolling her eyes and crossing her arms with a secretive smirk on her face. "You want to know about Eli?"
