"So what are you going to do?" Sarah asked as we watched Wade pace angrily outside. When he began kicking our perfectly mowed lawn was when I decided it was time for me to look away.
I sighed. "Well he doesn't know where Eli lives so we should be good." I mumbled feeling weary and completely drained. A headache was beginning to form as I walked to bed and laid down next to Sarah. Soothing fingers began running through my hair, so I knew Sarah was trying to calm me.
Closing my eyes, I let out a deep breath. "I wish he was gone and I wish I never would of have saw that kiss and I wish I would of have never went into my sister's room. If I wasn't so nosy then maybe everything would just be peaceful and fine....I still haven't told Isabelle." I whispered solmely as the girls silently listened. "I mean how can I? How do you tell you baby sister that the guy who took her V-card is a cheating douche!"
"I just need to take a nap," I mumbled opening my eyes and moving my head off of the comfort of Sarah's lap.
"You can't change fate," Trish said messing with her hair, us both watching Sarah get up and peer out my window.
"I know." I groaned sometimes really hating how blunt Trish was, but also secretly grateful for it.
"Yeah you can't....and I'm sure Elissa, you're about to be hit with a big amount of fate." Sarah frowned, wide eyes still looking out of the window.
Abruptly, I sat up. "What are you talking about?!" Worry hit me like a train.
"Eli just pulled up." Sarah said resting her hand on her head.
Without a second thought, I jumped up and ran to the window. "No you idiot, Eli," I mumbled. "This is bad, this is really bad," I muttered to myself.
"You're shaking," Trish pointed out, calmly getting up off the bed.
I nodded my head running a weary hand through my dirty blonde strands. "I don't think you get it Trish. They're going to fight over something stupid I already tried to break up a fight yesterday, I don't need to do it today too!" I shreiked. Couldn't I just have one day in peace. I had already caught my ex cheating, got in a fight, basically molested by Wade, and now this. I just wanted to curl up in a corner and cry.
"Calm down," Sarah tried to calm me, key word tried because as I looked the window again my anxiety hit the room.
Wade's reddened face was up in Eli's face, and Eli looked like he was about to swing any second. Even from here, I could see Eli's clenched fist. A tell-tale sign that Eli was suppressing his anger.
Wade pointed at Eli and then proceeded to shoe him and that's when Eli struck.
I screamed bloody murder as I watch Wade's hit snap back from the impact. "Okay! we need to get down there!" I panicked.
"Okay let me get my shoes on," Sarah said obviously not taking this seriously, matter of fact neither of them were. Trish's eyes were practically glimmering in entertainment, mouth dropped as she watched the scene outside.
I rolled my eyes and broke into a dash and ran down the stairs and to the front door. As soon as I swung the front door open, Austin grabbed me by the waist. "What are you doing Austin! Let me go i have to break this up!" I screamed kicking into the air.
"No if you try to break this fight up, you'll get hurt, let them duke it out for a few and then i'll break it up," he said tightening his grip. He was using his brotherly stern voice on me whenever he was completely serious so I knew he wasn't going to budge. But still, I struggled furiously in his arms.
"Where is mom and dad? Where is his parents, let them break it up!" I screamed, digging my nails into his arms, but he still wasn't letting me go.
"They're not here, they're at a bar!"
I looked up at the fight and each of them were getting hits from what I could see. I turned my head away; I couldn't look at this, it was pure torture. I didn't want Eli getting hurt, and Wade was like the Hulk compared to Eli. While Eli had lean and strong muscles packed on his body, Wade was almost body-builder size.
Sarah and Trish rushed out and dropped their mouths in awe. "You guys do something!" I yelled, face red and tears threatening to fall. No one was going to help Eli. They looked at the fight and then at me and shook their heads slowly as if they were scared to break it up.
"Sorry, but you don't get in between a guy fight like that....and plus Eli is winning." Trish smirked, eyes on the brawl.
I turned my head, and Eli was in fact winning, but I was still worried for him. "Eli stop hitting him!"
At my voice, Eli glanced at me and then turned his attention back to Wade. then looked at Wade. In his green eyes, I could see the battle raging on rather he should continue or not. What seemed like hours later, but was only a few seconds, Eli took a deep breath and got off of Wade. He looked at Wade again who was sitting on the ground glaring at him and then turned towards me "Fine I wont him. I'll stop kicking his ass since you asked and-" He was cut off, Wade tackled him like a steroid fused football player and this time he began hitting him. I winced each time Eli was hit.
"Get off of me and do something!" I yelled at Austin. He ignored me. "Call the police!" My attention turned to now Sarah and Trish.
"Don't do that, they'll both get arrested." Austin hit down my plea.
"I'm pretty sure someone is going to see and call the police anyways," I growled at Austin. He ignored me again. It was after Eli received another punch to his beautifully sculpted face that I finally snapped. An adrenaline rush must have coursed through my body or something because before I knew what I was doing it was pushing Austin off of me and running up to Wade.
My small hands latched onto Wade's large bicep, I began pulling with all my might to get him off of Eli. "Wade get off of him!"
Angry eyes turned to me and I froze. "Stay out of it!" He hollered in my face. Rough hands pushed me with all of their strength, and I was suddenly airborne.
All I can remember is flying back on to the pavement and feeling a sharp pain shoot to the back of my head. Everything began to spin, and I could see Sarah and Trish above me.
"Elissa, Elissa someone call the paramedics!" Sarah said in a faint voice. Black dots began clouding my vision and worried faces appeared above me.
"Keep your eyes open," Trish was saying to me. She sounded alarmed and frenzied.
I blinked a few times before everything became white, then gray, and finally black.
