"Okay, so is it noticeable?" I questioned the girls looking at the mark on my neck.
They had just helped me put makeup on to cover the horrible looking scar.
"Naww you look golden," Trish mumbled, eyes glued to a US magazine.
"I'm serious." I growled noting that she had not raised her eyes to look at anything since she opened the gossiping magazine.
"Yeah it's not noticeable." Sarah aided coming up and getting a closer look.
I sighed, stepping away from the mirror. "Great."
I looked at Alice who was sitting with her knees up to her chest and her head on her knees holding a ice pack to her eye. She was the epitome of depression.
"It'll get better." I tried to reassure her.
She just groaned and turned her head to the window.
"Can you drive me home?" I asked Sarah, stepping away from Alice and turning to Sarah.
"Yeah, Trish you coming?"
"Yeah I don't feel like being with Miss. Grumpy pants anyways." Trish smirked getting up and then dodging a pillow that Alice threw at her. "Lets get out of here before she start throwing hard stuff like mirrors." Trish giggled.

Sarah stopped at my house. "Are you guys coming in?" I asked.
They nodded and we all went upstairs into my room. We luckily managed to evade my mom and siblings, so we got into my room worry free.
"So who is this Wade guy that you hate so much? I want to see how hot he is." Trish smiled at me, crossing her legs as she plopped on my bed.
Worriedly, I looked at the mark again on my neck and then walked to the window. We had only been at Alice's house for a couple of hours doing damage control, so it was barely the afternoon.
The sun's rays hit my eyes, and I squinted my eyes watching as a red pickup truck came to a stop on the curb. "There he is, getting out the car." I sighed. I did not feel like seeing him, and I knew despite what he girls said, this makeup would not disguise my scar.
At my words, Sarah and Trish rushed off the bed and bolted to the window. "Oh he's hot!" Trish squealed. "Why the hell do you always get the hot ones?"
I rolled my eyes. "You can have him." At that exact moment Austin and Wade both looked up at my window. "Duck!" I screamed ducking down out of sight. They both ignored me and just waved with goofy smiles planted on their faces.
"Way to blow our cover," I murmured to myself.
"Ohh I want your brother to see me." Sarah purred, hungry eyes following, what I assumed, my brother outside the window.
"I want Wade to me." Trish coed.
I sat down on the bed and Sarah and Trish both jumped on the bed excitedly. "He's coming up!" Sarah screamed.
"What?" I asked looking at Sarah.
"He's coming up." Trish repeated. By her smirk, I knew which guy she was talking about.
"No." I whined, throwing myself back on the bed. Couldn't I have one day in peace without Wade annoying me. Sarah and Alice both ignored me and were giggling and playing around like two kids in a candy shop.
Wade walked in and the girls sobered up, both smirking.
"Hey ladies." He greeted in his flirtatious Southern accent, flashing that smile that a year ago would have sent me to my feet. Now, it made me scowl.
