Right before I was going to open the patio doors, ready to make my escape, Alice put her hands on my shoulder and stopped me. Her gray eyes filled with anger glared into mine. "Aren't you going to hit that bitch in face?" She asked. "She's trying to split you guys up and you're just letting her. Get mad, go hit her, slap her, do something! Don't just walk away!" She pleaded, the fury clear in her tone.
I shook my head feeling utterly defeated."She can have him. I don't care this is the second time he's done something like this. I'm done", I admitted crestfallen. I looked away from her intense stare and to the wooden deck floor with my shoulders hunched. I was hurting so bad and just wanted to go home and curl under my bed.
With a scowl on her face, she looked at me and then at Shelby and Eli. Eli was just sitting on the deck stairs with his head in his hands not doing anything. See he was just using me probably. He wouldn't even get up and try to fight for me, us. He was just going to let me walk away, completely pathetic! I grew angry at his actions but completely fizzled out when my mind thought of their kiss. Pain crashed into me and all I wanted to do was cry.
Shelby on the other hand looked satisfied and triumphant. Her hand extended to caress Eli's thigh, but he sharply rejected her touch. She shrugged, laying back against the wall of the deck and smirked at all of us.
"Do you see the way she is starring at us?" Alice said working herself up even more. "Doesn't that make you angry?!"
"I don't care about that tramp," I hissed, ready to go. I had thought Alice was this sweet, giggling airhead, but I was now seeing a different side of her. It would have shocked me if my mind wasn't so hung up on their kiss and the pain. Eli had cheated on me. The truth fucking hurt.
"We can take them, she only has two other girl friends here," Alice whispered to me.
I stared at her calculating. For a second I really thought of the idea, but then brushed it away with a shake of my head. "No that's just unwanted drama!"
They all sighed at my answer. "I swear you are such a goody two shoes you better fight for your man," Sarah said leaning on the deck railing. My eyes widened. Oh, now she was Alice's side. Did everyone want to resolve their problems through violence?
I scowled at all of them. Couldn't they see I just wanted to run out of this house and never return? "I don't want him." I said, turning towards the patio door and turning my back to all of them. Shelby and Eli can be happy together because I'm done with Dylan and Eli.
"Well I don't have Southern hospitality like you!" Alice growled. I ignored her.
I had just begin to open the door when I heard Alice. "You little trashy slut!"
The hair raising sound of flesh pounding with flesh made me stop in my tracks. I swung around, my blonde hair temporarily blinding me, only to see Alice repeatedly hitting Shelby in the face while Shelby struggled to get away.
Everything happened so fast. Shelby fell to the ground and started kicking trying to get Alice off of her to no avail. Even when Shelby did get a hit in, Alice continued like she didn't even feel the blows. Out of nowhere one of Shelby's friend ran up to Alice and shoved Alice away. She threw a punch and Alice hit the ground. The girl sprung on her.
Without a second to lose, Trish jumped in. All of Eli's friend were cheering them on, none were even trying to break it up. I looked at Dylan who had the same stunned face as I, and then I looked at Eli who was the only one trying trying to break it up. This just caused them to get even angrier. He hissed through hiss teeth and backed up out of the brawl. Reddened, inflamed scratches were etched on his arms.
