"Power failure on the other side," troubleshooter application displayed the message on the screen. Char sunk into her seat, unable to comprehend what had happened just now. All of it was too complicated. At first, her android malfunctions; the old android decoded classified data, unbelievable facts get revealed; an unknown person hacks into a working android and then disappears because of blackout. The Colony has full time power supply with no chance of disruption. The man couldn't be in any resident area. Things are rather complicated. Char did not know so much about Earth before. Likewise, it was possible that she did not know about the Colony also. Or maybe the Colony was hiding something. The ghostly and grotesque face of the man meant that he was dying or at least starving and sick. How could that be possible? She had known that no one is given a death sentence or elimination in Colony unless the person had committed a severe crime like murder. He seemed very old. Could he be one of the former workers whom Colony had eliminated based on age? But usually their children took up the responsibility and earned for them too.
"K, locate the man's position now," Char ordered to the android.
Again the response she could see was different from what she had ordered the android. But this time, Char was gnashing at her teeth.
