COMPLETED
Meet Char Suave. She lives on a planet called Styx. This is where humans live after earth.
Rediscover earth through her eyes. Her life changes when she gets to know that there is no alternative for home.
This is the...
"Oh. Sorry. I was getting on edge," Gray apologized. His forehead was covered with beads of sweat. This was the type of situation when seconds seemed like hours.
"Its okay. Are they going to reach there?" Char muttered.
"I hope so," Gray breathed, practically.
The androids traveled through a light conductor and emerged into the destination point.
"Yeah they did it," Gray announced and pulled Char rather abruptly into a very tight hug almost suffocating her. It was a weird thing to do because for unknown reasons, hugs are avoided in the Colony. Char was startled by Gray's sudden emotional expression. Humans are not created for emotions in Colony. Gray on the other hand was flabbergasted by his own action and somewhat embarrassed.
They could see the androids in a weakly lit room.
"Hello!" Char's virtual self in the room asked out. The voice echoed through the walls. That was uncanny because every room in the Colony was installed with equipments that tackled and put an end to echo. All of a sudden the lights in the room went off and the infrared vision of the androids could detect nothing.
The same way as the lights went off, a figure appeared in the room in front of the androids. It was a sphere like globe model of Styx they used to study in the school. It had a blue color along with crazy array of white, green and brown. The orb spun around.
"It is so beautiful," Char thought in her mind.
"Yes. Utterly beautiful," Gray said and Char bit her tongue.
She had said it aloud.
