Zephyr slowly got to his foot. He did not expect that to happen. Then he knew that he couldn't possibly mess up with Char or her precarious friends. Char on the other hand had started to trust Zephyr. She did not want any of it to happen but she had almost no power over the incidents. She had to convince her friends that Zephyr meant no harm before they beat him up again.

"Trust me friends, he did no harm to me. Actually he helped me through the hard times. Please do not hit him again." Char pleaded with her friends.

"If you say so." Gray frowned and glared a Zephyr once again.

"I do not think we can trust him completely. How are you feeling now?" Force asked with concern in her voice.

"Much better. You need not worry. I will be all right. Thank you for coming. I think you should go now. If someone finds you out of your place at this hour they may catch you. Please worrying about me and go back before they gets to know that you are helping a delinquent." Char begged.

"What? You want us to leave? What if something happens to you? This Zephyr here does not seem trustworthy at all, especially after all these." Dulcet growled.

"Zephyr is harmless. He helped me. You can not avoid that truth for long." Char countered.

"Whatever." Dulcet spat.

"We can compromise this time only because you are saying so. But Zephyr, you will be next time something happens to Char." Force warned Zephyr with a serious glare. Seriously that woman knows how to make others' knees wobbly. Zephyr nodded faintly.

"Then we will be get going. Take care, Char. Call us if anything happens." Gray declared before taking Force's hand and leading her out of the door while Force mumbled something into his ears while they walked. Dulcet stood in the room for some more time staring at Zephyr.

"You can go, D. He will not eat me. I will be okay." Char whispered to Dulcet, taking his hand in her.

"No. I will stay." Dulcet replied without removing his eyes off Zephyr. "Only until you are asleep."
