"Now lets go before they get us." Dulcet deemed. Thus they went to the LeOfEa HQ. They had been there many times but never in physical form, only virtually. It was a long journey to reach there. A secret passage ran through the floor below the Milieu. It was more of a tunnel and to pass through it, one must crawl. These tunnels had cables running trough them and had Plexiglas coat that prevented all kinds of electronic activities. It was unlikely for an android to work there but K could work because of the chain links for gravity based communication facility installed in the system.
Usage of gravity for communication was an idea derived during 2560 AD but that mode of communication was disrupted after humans settles on Styx because the gravitational pull on Styx was different from that on Earth. Even though people, scientists tried to recreate it on Styx but their efforts were unyielding. There was a reason for that. The Colony was stabilized by artificial gravity.
Styx was never an ideal planet for human beings. All the things: air, water, gravity, air pressure, warmth, light etc were artificial on Styx. Styx had everything made up, nothing original. The life that was once spread over a planets face was now confined to a metal structure that protected them from the radiation of sun, acidity of rain and weakness of the ground.
