After finishing her daily work, Char was just going through the databases. It was almost the end of sunlight hours and she was exhausted.
Since she worked for Information Department, she dealt with top secret and classified files about which most of the human beings had no idea. Many of them had information about individuals, especially those who were suspected. The Colony had tracked those who worked in ways that was against the Colony's rules and regulations and the Castle took control of their personal androids. This was because those androids received psychological commands and had direct access to the person's cognition. Every move of these people were watched over and recorded. The M.I.D. did not have any information about the reason why the person was watched over. They were employed to take action if something suspicious or dangerous took place.
Char was commanding her K-FlumMox to log her out when the android behaved oddly. Instead of complying to her demand the machine opened an encrypted database.
"K, what are you doing?" Char asked the machine.
