"Wake up, Char." That was the first thing she heard that morning, unlike her usual smart watch alarm. To her great surprise at first, and concern later, it was the voice of her friend Gray Gazebo. "What is he doing in my room?" This was the first question that passed through her mind. "He is not in this room, at least not physically," the android declared this and made her jump from the chair. All the things that happened last evening crossed through her mind like a thunderbolt.
"Hello. Good morning Gray. Did you find anything?" Char jibed. She turned on the 3D display. She could see him almost as if in person.
"Yes. Come outside the room. I want to show you. I can't talk about it through the connection. No one should know. You wouldn't believe this." Gray reasoned. Char looked at her smart watch. She had four hours to get to work.
"Where are you? Give me your address. I am coming." Char was eager to go.
"I'm before the Kimbaste cabins. You know the place, right?" Gray interrogated.
"Yes. I worked there for months. I will be there in one minute," Char chimed in before turning off her desktop hardware, and jumped on to the hoverboard.
