"He, Zephyr, their parents and Force are at the lab," Shimmer replied.
"Can you take me to there?" Char asked.
"Follow me." Shimmer nodded and led her to the lab. The lab was yet another secret chamber to which tunnels led.
It was dimly brightly lit room. Small stalls had plants grown in them with the help of led lights.
"Char, Shimmer. You came!" It was Heath, Gray's mother. Char turned and walked towards them. Gray was sitting on a chair near Force and both were crying.
"Du...Dulce...t?" Char stammered. Air choked in her throat while tears poured out down her cheeks.
"We couldn't save him. Three bullets. He was too young. He died as a hero." Reign, her mother told.
"He asked to preserve his body. He wanted to be buried on Earth." Heath added sadly.
"He gave me something...sniff... Can you say...sniff...what it is?" Gray took of the chain from around his neck.
"It is plant callus. It will take a minute to identify which plant." Clemency said taking the green capsule from him.
"It is Rosa Grayensis a neo-hybrid variety of deep white rose which was genetically engineered by Dulcet, himself. He was most fascinated by the rose plants. This was his only creation. He used to come here, you see. Low nutrient need, disease resistance and perennial blooming are the significant qualities of this one. You can grow it here if you like." Clemency said observing it through her smart microscopes.
" Dulcet was a bit crazy you see." Clemency continued.
"Oh yes. He was totally insane." Gray muttered under her breath and burst into tears.
"Why are there so many tunnels around Colony?" Shimmer asked to Reign.
"They aren't tunnels by purpose. They where channels made to implement gravity based communication system. But an experiment was very harsh on the laws of nations. So they never developed fully and we lost the technology. We lost technology many times before too." Reign explained.
"They are inviting me for the new law making processes. What should I do?" Char asked. Her voice was still shaky.
"You know what to do." Gray told her and he was right.
