It was a smooth working day; the call came in the least expected time.

"Char Suave you are going to face a corrective hearing at the Castle. Please be there in twenty minutes from now. Thank you."

That was what the call said.

"The Mask was powerful, how come they found out?" Char sighed.

"My creator used to say that even the Walls had ears in the Coliseum and in every nook hid cameras. This is so unfortunate," the android contemplated.

She was very gloomy by the time she reached the Castle. It was as if the death was nearing and one was ingrained to life not wanting to let it go. But android had told her that even if she faced elimination she could be saved like Den. But, Char knew that was impossible. She would not get the help since she was not telling her friends about the condition. They needn't be tracked, yet she sent a message saying that they should be more careful. She hoped that they might not get caught.

"Resourceful 16, do you have any idea why you are summoned?" A lady whom Char recognize from her graduation day asked or from the call earlier.

"I... I am not sure," Char shuttered.

"Your reports have come. We have some doubts. So you need to take the senior level test today itself." Char let out a sigh of relief and her face lit up.

"Yes. I will take it," Char replied to the lady. Her joy was reflected in her voice and that was a grave mistake for which she had to pay a great price.

"There is no need to get excited. It is rather disturbing that you are yielding to your emotions. I do not think that this will contribute positively to your working ability," The lady scolded her and she got back with having a normal appearance. She do not want another authority displeased.

Char gave the exam with a pleasant mind. She was deeply relieved that the secret was still a secret. Since she was happy she missed the deathly signs of what the exam meant to her and her career. After the exam she was dismissed for the day. She could not express the relief she felt.

Alas, the relief did not live long.
