"Shut up. Don't act as if you are safe. You are illegal in the Colony and all that you can look on to is death. Believe me, your hours are counted. Do this or not if not today then tomorrow the Castle will execute us, each one of us. And no one will know. More, no one will care. They will be happy that a criminal is dead. They won't know what you died for. We will spread the word before we die. The Castle won't kill of those who know about Earth. That will make us safe, if it is even possible. This is our only chance, the only thing we can do or accomplish. So let her do it."
"What if the Castle will come for a fight?" A girl asked from the pack.
"Then we will fight." A man in his late sixties who might be the oldest person in the room snapped.
"We are going viral." A girl younger than Char shouted.
While Char got to work on the computer, Zephyr, the lady Éclat and a few other came forward o help her.
"Can I call Shimmer once? You know if something goes wrong, I wish to speak to her for the last time." Zephyr beamed. Char diverted face from him and let Éclat to deal with the matter. Again she was feeling something weird and she didn't like it.
"Okay. And all others who do not have much hope, please come and call whoever you want. But please, make it fast." Éclat scowled with monotony.
Char, Éclat and a few others sat in a corner watching the others line up beside the computer.
"Don't you have anyone to call?" Éclat asked to Char. Char shook her head, staring at Zephyr who was indulged in a deep conversation with Shimmer, ignoring the angry crowd behind him.
"Who is she?" Char heard herself ask to Zephyr when he came to the corner where she had been sitting for the last half an hour. It could have taken him more time it the people queuing behind him had not pushed him away. Who is she to him? Friend? Girl friend? WIFE? Moreover, why was Char angry whenever it came to her?
