This is the...
The Princess floated toward the metal door of the Kimbaste and disappeared.
"Where did she go?" Before Char could finish, Princess was back.
"She went to check out the Kimbaste. There is no one inside. So that part is at ease now. We will utilize the metal wall to continue the connection. Let's go," Gray beamed.
They linked their androids to the wall for exerting connection. Androids could travel through the conductor as if through the augmentation cables. After finalizing the location of destination point, they set off the androids. They traveled through the walls in a flash. Within seconds, they were very close to the destination point. They infiltrated into a thinner medium. It was as if a tough insulator material covered the metal through which they traversed. The insulation was causing high friction and energy loss at an unusual rate. The pathway reduced as they traveled further.
Char's breath rate hiked, as she was very nervous. What if they couldn't make it to the destination? She was worried. Other than the fact that they may not reach their destination, the rising chances that they fall out of energy on the way was also a serious threat. If it happens so, there would be no chance of withdrawing them from the wall and it will automatically put Char's job to risk. Another risk was that the high friction would burn up the magnetized particles that formed the android. There is no chance of reversing combustion because androids will be reduced to ash. If they are traveling through the wiring of the Colony, surest result will be fire breakout and scorching of the Colony. All these thoughts played again and again through Char's mind.
Out of blue, Gray caught her hand making her jump.
