Planet Styx has barren land. There isn't much oxygen, water, or soil. But human beings saw, explored, came, conquered the planet, and created their colony. People, the ones who were alive, of course, were transported to the colony. (Many billions had died due to calamities, diseases and hunger mostly.) The colony was set up in the year 2680s.
First, a human camp,supported by resources from Earth was developed. Later the first nuclear power station on Styx was developed. Humanoids, machines and robots worked to build air refineries that produced oxygen through chemical reactions and water refineries to produce water from fundamentals: hydrogen and oxygen. Anon, the colony building was built. The colony building is the largest building made by machines spanning an area of thousand square kilometers. This was built to contain the whole world in a single building for humans in Styx. Life was not simple, it was never simple.
