The Break In

It had been two days since Sesshomaru left once again. I've been acting like I still had my staples and shit since it being healed already should be impossible. I was going out of my way not to cause myself any pain. I really didn't want Sesshomaru to come back and take me away. What would I tell my father and brother's?

'Sorry guys but I have to go with a demon who I created to go take over the demon world. Take care!' No, it wouldn't work. I wouldn't even be able to say the first sentence. I can't just runaway or claimed I was kidnapped.

Maybe I could say I was going on a road trip? No, they know I'm broke. Maybe with my friends? That might work but how would I get out of taking care of the boys? I started watching them at sixteen, Ares is Fifteen. Would that be acceptable to dad?

I rolled over and buried my face into the pillows groaning. I was going to give myself a headache if I didn't stop all this thinking. I curled up under my blankets and yawned. Yeah, it was two in the morning and sleep seemed like a great idea.

I was half asleep when I heard the sound of my front door opening. I threw the covers off of me and went to go tell Ares to get his ass back in the house. I stormed out my room and froze at the two strangers in my house.

"There she is! She still smells faintly of him. Get her!" One of them said.

"BOYS! INTRUDER ALERT!" I screamed turning tail to go back to my room and get the machete. I heard Ally start barking up a storm as both boys came out there rooms with weapons. The guys had ran after me to my room. One tackled me to the ground. We immediately started wrestling each other, both of us with a blade in our hands.

"Not again! I'm not going to be stabbed for the second time in one week!" I growled still struggling. I was able to make him stab at the ground instead of me.

"Athena!" Brady said pulling back his sling shot with a rock loaded on it. He fired the rock at the back of my attackers head. The guy cursed and looked back at my brother. In my moment of panic I stabbed my machete into the guy's chest. I'm sure I didn't stab his heart, but I got his lungs. He howled in pain and turned his hateful gaze down at me.

I my eyes and mouth were both open wide in shock. I didn't fully realize what was going on around me other then the guy above me clawing at me with a trail of blood coming out of his mouth. He was suddenly ripped from me and the sounds of my brothers yelling became so loud my ears throbbed. Above me with the now dead intruder was Sesshomaru.

"Why did you come?" I asked baffled.

"I knew that you would be attacked sooner or later." He said.

"So you just waited till now to stop them?" I gasped scrambling up to my feet.

"Athena! You know this dude?" Brady asked still having his slingshot aimed at him.

"Not exactly." I said.

"Come."

"What!" I yelled and stepped up to him and whispered. "I wasn't hurt!"

"You would of now you will come." He narrowed his eyes.

"Wow! My big sister isn't going with no cosplaying mother fucker! Who the hell do you think you are!?" Ares said swinging his bat up onto his shoulder.

"Do me a favor and act like your kidnaping me, it'll be faster and easier that way." I whispered backing away from him. "He's right, why the fuck would I go with you? I barely even know you!" I shouted in outrage.

Sesshomaru calmly walked up to me, threw me over his shoulder and jumped through my window with me. I hissed as the glass broke and screamed. My brothers screamed for me and rushed to go out the front door. By the time Sesshomaru was up my streets hill I could see Ares rounding the corner. Sesshomaru turned down another road continued running. He carried me out of my city in a flash then set me down finally.
