Breakfast was slow because of me and Granny's conversation. I told her almost everything that had happened. I left out the part of him being apart of my dreams and the fact that if one of us died, the other would too. I understand why he wouldn't want anyone knowing, fuck I didn't want anyone knowing. In return Granny told me a little bit about the world hidden from human eyes.

Purebloods and mudbloods were self explanatory, Purebloods were demons with no or very little human blood in them, Mud bloods were demons, or humans, with only a little demon blood in them. Half demons, three quarter demons were thought of as mud bloods too despite their strength. For the most part, mating with humans was acceptable but not everyone wanted to taint their blood line.

The U.S. had 50 states but in the demon world there was 64. Most of the times humans thought of battles between demons for land to be gang fights or terrorist attacks. 9/11 really was a terrorist attack, that was still very much real. She told me that so far, Sesshomaru has almost taken over an entire demon state. Which would explain why those people attacked me.

Granny said that they were very low demons which is why I could of sworn up and down they were human. Apparently they could smell Sesshomaru at my house and on me. Well, not them. There was other demons who had caught his scent on me and around my house. Since he popped out of nowhere and he was a pureblood they were desperate to find a weakness or bargaining chip.

"Okay then, so how did he meet you?" I asked helping her do the dishes.

"We'll, he had just came back from your house as I was driving down into town. He was just walking on the side of the road. He stuck out like a sore thumb he did! I pulled over and managed to convince him to get my truck. Had to promise him that I would in his service till the end of my days. I offered him shelter and cooked for him, stubborn thing refused to eat though. He came and went as he please, not a lick of a warning. Typical pomptus attitude from a pureblood. Oh but he's not cruel from what I've seen. Vaguely told me about a human girl he meet before leaving yesterday. Asked for me to hide you and then next thing I know, here you are." She rambled on.

"Yeah....that sounds a lot like him. Sorry for his manners. He needs to be knocked down from his pedestal if you ask me." I huffed.

"True but trouble is, who's going to be the one to tie the bell around the cat's neck?" She asked referencing an old story.

"Ah, you got me there. Oh well, it'll happen one day. There will always be a bigger fish out there." I said.

"Yes, thats true but not everything is about size you know." She pointed out. "Well, now let me lay down the basic rules of this house. Your not to stay up past eleven. Your to be up outta bed by seven and ready to eat breakfast. I expect you to help me with the chores inside and out. If you don't know how to do something I'll teach you. Other then that just mind yohr manners." She said as I put up the last dish.

"I have no problems with that, but I'm going ro need more coffee if I'm going to even make it to five." I smiled.

"Oh, that's right! You didn't slept a wink last night! Oh and you don't have a change of clothes or shoes! Mercy sakes, he's really is a thoughtful one isn't he?" She gasped the rushed out the kithen.

"Well, not like he could pack my shit then kidnap me. Wouldn't look that real and my brohers would be all over him in a flash." I shrugged following her.

"Alright, wright down your shoe and clothe sizes. I can't get you a whole lot but I can get you enough to get till Lord Sesshomaru come back." She said handing me a note pad and a pen from the hallway dresser. I did as she instructed as she grabbed the truck keys. "While I'm gone you can go check out your room. Its up the stairs, first door on your left."

"Okay, thank you so much." I said handig her the note pad.

"Not a problem deary, I'll be back before ya know it." She said then left. I watched her truck go down the gravel road before I went up to my room. It was small but nice. The bed was made with several quilts on it. There was a night stand on the side, a closet and a dresser. After a bit of snooping around I decided to lay down on the bed. 'Just to rest my eyes, but I wouldn't fall asleep. I repeat I will not fall....zzzzz'
