Hills of dirt and sparsely growing weeds passed by outside of my window. The speakers on my car door vibrated as music came out of it. Cassie and Anna where in the front singing along, John was on the otherside of the car in the back with me. He was doing the same as me, staring out the window probably spacing out. We were following a big U-Haul truck thay had all our stuff in it. Driving in it was Sesshomaru and Scott. I didn't know who was driving the car that Scott usually drove but they were behind us.

I was mulling over how long it would take for the west to fall, the grand council meeting afterwards and the outcome. Worse come to worse maybe Sesshomaru can fly us to Russia. Why Russia, I didn't really understand either but mehh. Then my thoughts turned to Sesshomaru in dirty ways. First thing I have to say is that my mental envisionments are very strong. I closed my eyes and sighed cris-crossing my legs. Oh yes, such deliciously dirty things I'm thinking. I jolted in my seat and blushed furiously covering my mouth to say my scream of surprise when a primal growl resonated loudly in my mind.

"Are you okay?" Anna said looking back at me with an inquiring glance.

"Yeah, just thought of something messed up is all." I lied brushing it off the best I could. Perhaps it was my mind messing with me. I was getting into it. He's growled at me like that twice and both times it was an instant panty dropper. Dear god I'll have to change my underwear when we get to our new place. That's gonna suck cause my suitcase was the first to be packed.

"What was it?" Cassie asked.

"Nothing important, just my crazy imagination!" I said.

"Okay." She shrugged and started swaying to the music once again. I blew out a breath of relief and resumed looking out the window. Call me paranoid but I refused to think about my last thoughts for a moment.

SESSHOMARU'S P.O.V.

I sat inside the transportation vehicle looking uninterested in land scape passing off to the side. I had my yokai tucked with in me fully to go unnoticed by potential rival Demon Lord. It was a risk bringing my mate into enemy territory but it was apart of my and Scott's strategy. Despite his up bringing Scott thought as a general should. Thus why I have kept him by myself along with his trustworthiness and loyalty.

"You going to spend another night with you're mate?" Scott questioned.

"That is not of your concern." I told him.

"Sorry for my trespass Milord but I couldn't help but to notice the way she has been eyeing you today. Reminds me of a panther waiting in a tree for her prey to come below.

"I have noticed. She must learn that such desires wont be fullfil when wished because of both her and I's duties." I said explaining things a little more then I would to other's. It is a habit that has grown as time wore on.

"Ah, but she's a woman. They tend to learn the art of persuasion fast. Though Athena seems slow on the uptake when it comes to feminine charm but that's what I like about the girl. Women can be snakes in the grass now in days. She's more blunt about things." He chuckled.

"She has her moments when she displays her ability to be such. She is exactly how you have said, blunt." I agreed.

"That's true, she just doesn't do it enough for me to take a real notice to it. She's going to be a great Demon Lady. Someone the lesser demons and witches can relate to ya know? She's got a very good heart. Give her a ten years and some grooming and she'll be highly respected and hated." He said.

"It comes with the title." I said turning my head.

"Yeah, she'll learn to cope though. Tough girl she is, despite her emotions. As long as she has the frame of mind that success is the best revenge, those who have a problem with it are just envious, then she'll be able to brush it off. I don't think she cares about strangers opinions aways, not if it won't effect her life or the lives of those around her honestly. Yes sir, she'll be just fine." Scott said.
