I woke up to the feel of us pulling to a stop and the engine cutting off. I yawned and stretched myself before looking out the window only to frown. The building in front of us was really old with vines growing on almost the entirety of the building. The windows were boarded up.

"Uhhhhh...where are we?" I asked.

"An old Insane Asylum." The driver said getting out.

"What?" I yelled getting out of the car. The driver grabbed my suitcase and quilt. He ignored me and headed towards the building's doors. I looked to Sesshomaru who did bother even getting out. I opened up the driver side door. "You don't expect me to stay here do you?" I said glaring at him. He nodded back to me. "Are you serious? That place isn't-"

"Hello! Names Gail, I'll be your jailor! Or warden, or just keeper I guess!" A man said putting out his hand for me with a wide grin. The first thing I noticed about the guy was..he was very attractive. Who am I kidding, he was hot as hell! I took his hand blushing a bit and shook it.

"Hi, my names Athena." I said.

"Already know your name and a little bit of your history. Slippery one aren't ya? We'll you're not going to give me the slip!" He smiled making me want to fan myself off.

"Well, he dumped me off with a total bitch so who could blame me?" I defended.

"Well then you won't want to run away cause I'm a nice fellow!" He assured me leading me towards the Insane Asylum. Once in I really wanted to go right back out but I allowed Gail to lead me down stairs into the basement. It actually had electricity down there. The basement was actually nice. It had carpet and walls. It looked like a house actually, minus any windows. "Like the place? We fixed it up just for you. Hope you like it cause I about killed myself bringing your bed down." He grumbled.

"So far it's blown me away, thank you." I beamed opening up the nearest door to find a bathroom. The next door was a closet and then the next was what I was hoping was my room. There was a bed and a few dressers in there along with a T.V. It had to have been cause my suitcase was placed in there.

"That's your room, mines just across the hall. Now, when I got to work in the morning I will have to lock you in. So, leave me a list of the things you want. Also tell me what food you like, wouldn't want to get something you won't eat." He said.

"Oh uhhh thank you." I said deflating a bit.

"Well, if you need me you know where to find me." He said then walked into his room. I sighed and closed the door to mine and curled on the bed with my quilt. I yawned and went off to sleep before I knew it.

TWELVE DAYS LATER

I yawned and rolled onto my back. I stretched out a bit then rolled back to my side and tried to get comfortable. For some reason I was feeling uneasy, well not uneasy just aware of another's presence in my room. I growled lowly in my throat and rolled over ready to bop Gail in the face with my pillow. It wasn't uncommon that he could come into my room while I was sleeping to wake me up or just mess with me.
