"Lord Sesshomaru has beaten his challenger. Does anyone else wish to step up?" The announcer said in surprise. Suddenly someone started to clap. All heads turned towards Slan in a chair. I snapped out of whatever I was just in and got up. I looked to see Sesshomaru a little beaten up by the fight. Well for a human he looked fucked but for a Pureblood blood, he could do for some rest but that's it.

"Very good Lord Sesshomaru. You have earned your right to be the Demon Lord of America. However, I don't think your counter part lives to the same standards." Slan said looking over to me evilly. So that was their plan B, attack me.

"What do you expect from a human?" An elder witch said to my defense.

"That's my point, she's human. She's not even a witch, nor is she even a proxie. No, she's just a little, plain, boring human. Such a human shouldn't be allowed to rule a whole nation even along side Sesshomaru." She said gettin many people around us to murmur in agreement.

"They are married and mated. They have a connection to each other that can't be broken. Why are you bringing this up now?" Selvester questioned.

"Because I think their marriage and mating should be nullified. He should have a mate, more suited to his powers. The girl can be in his and his new mates care. It would be what's best for the demonic society." Slan suggested examining her painted claws before looking up to Sesshomaru.

"I have no desire to revoke my mating." Sesshomaru said making me happy that he was being loyal to me.

"It doesn't matter what you desire when it comes to the protection to the secret and security of the demonic society." Alabaster said making me gasp. I thought he was on my side? Why is he backing up Slan? "You have the power to rule the nation but your mate needs to be at least able to defend herself. No human can ever hope to stand up to a half demon out for blood. She would be targeted should she be put in the spot light. It would be like putting a sheep inside a cag of wolves. It's only a matter of time until she is eaten alive."

"See? It's for the best interest of the human girl. After all, this society is built off of what is mutually benifical to all species." Slan said getting more approval.

"Oh Slan, you are mistaken should you think that I have sided with you." He chuckled making me furrow my brows in confusion. Now I hadn't a clue of what was the fuck was happening. I thought this was check mate once Sesshomaru won all the challenges. At least that's what Sharon had told me.

"I couldn't care less, either way your just helping me." She said.

"No, just stating fact. That's what we're here for, facts and then action. Now that we know the facts, I shall take my action." Alabaster said gestering for me to come to him. Shakily I did so with the encouragement of others.

"What are you doing Alabaster?" Slan hissed.

"What is my right to." He said grippig my arm. He brought the palm of my hand up to his face. "Sorry in advanced Athena, but it's not possinle to do this without pain." He said. Before I could process what he was saying he breathed into my palm. My knees instantly buckled, me falling to the ground to get away from the burning pain he was inflicting on me. I bit my knuckle and curled up the best I could until it was all over. When I finally recovered, and it was done here was murmuring going on all around me. I could hear what they where saying but there was so much that I couldn't comprehend them.

"What did you do you snake!" Slan hisses at Alabaster who then helped me up.

"My right as a dragon of many years, I made her a Dragon. I feel safe leaving this world with her as my replacement. I will die in a few minutes, but she will stay. She is no longer human, therfore your arguments are invalid and sugestions are void." He said with a smirk.
