Two weeks past in a blast and to say I was fidgety around Sesshomaru was an understatement. I just couldn't get my mind off of him and the things he did to me. He was really good about not doing anything to series or anything. I was really bad at not wanting him to go a step further in the heat of the moment but once it cooled down and I had some air I would realize that I didn't want that yet. I like him, yes but I didn't like him that much yet. I practically started training myself to have a wife mentality about him. Why not? It was basically what I would become sooner or later.

It helped having my friends to both hound and support me every step of the way. They were actually job hunting like I had suggested them doing in the first place. I still didn't speak to Sesshomaru about me getting a job yet either. Then again, I was going to be his mate and he was a Demon Lord. Doesn't that make me a Demon Lady? It would be weird if I got a job at McDonald's or something then. Actually couldn't seem to think of a job title dignified enough to suit a Demon Lady that I could get with out a lot more college. Yet, I really wanted to get a psvista! I was walking around the place whistling here and there looking for Sesshomaru. I was going to ask him about me getting a job or something today, my mind was made up and nothing can stop me. I nodded in agreement with myself and marched threw a set of double doors into a room filled with people.

Not just any people, they were wearing fancy clothing. I looked down at my mustard stained sweat shirt and immediately went red with embarrassment. I caught a few glances from a few people but no one said shit. I caught Sesshomaru out the corner of my eye giving me a death glare. It was then I realized what day it was and who these people were. Opps. I was about to turn tail and disappear off the face of the earth when a hand grabbed my shoulder.

"Hello Athena, so glad you made it." A older woman said looking to be in her late forties.

"How do you know my name?" I asked jumping like she had splashes a bucket of ice water on me.

"Your Ambers friend, she tells me and my sister everything since she is apart of our coven. Now come along, it's not going to do you any good hiding. The other's are already pretty sour with the young Lord as it it. Now if you leave things will take a wrong turn and we don't want that now do we?" She said calmly leading me further into a room towards another woman that looked just like her.

"This must be Athena. Athena my name is Laura and this is my twin Lauren." She said coming to my other side.

"Hello....um....this is so weird and well uncomfortable for me if you can understand that." I said looking to her.

"Oh we understand. Don't worry we're on your team." She said patting my back.

"That's a relief, that means out of a room of 40 myself included I have 4 people on my side, once again myself included." I said giving a half ass grin.

"Actually it's only 37. Three of us didn't make it today. Oh well, it's there loss anyways." Lauren said.

"Yes, old Sybil broke her hip yesterday and had to cancel at the last minute. Pity, would of loved to get a feather from her." Laura said. 'Guessing she's some sort of bird demon then.'

"Don't know what happened to the other two."

"Anyways, enough about that tell us. We can tell your not mated to him yet but.....how close are you to doing so?"

"Close! Super close, yeah! We're really wanting to do it as soon as possible but I actually want to wait for marriage! I've waited this long so why not you know?" I lied.

"Hmm, that's a lie."

"Don't worry throw in something that is truthful and you'll be fine." Lauren said bluntly.
